LIVERPOOL are reportedly getting set to off-load misfiring striker Mario Balotelli to Besiktas.
According to his agent, the Turkish outfit are front-runners to sign the wantaway Italian, who is surplus to boss Jurgen Klopp’s needs at Anfield.
Balotelli spent last season on loan at AC Milan but failed to make it a permanent move after scoring just one goal in eight Serie A starts.
As a result the Reds are desperate to see the back of the 25-year-old this summer and hope to sell him sooner, rather than laster.
Balotelli has been the subject of interest from the mega-rich Chinese Super League but wants to stay in Europe.
And now he may get what he wants, according to his agent, Mino Raiola.

He has been speaking to potential buyers the Reds blessing and believes Besiktas will follow up their interest with a firm offer.
Raiola told the Turkish outlet Spox.com.tr: “I offered Mario to Besiktas and I’m waiting for their answer.
“But I’m quite sure the transfer will happen as the president already assured me in the past that he would do everything he can to sign him.”
Balotelli scored just four goals in 28 appearances for the Reds following his £16million move from AC Milan two years ago.
He was also widely criticised by the Anfield faithful for his lack of application.
According to Gazzetta World, Balotelli has been told by Klopp to return to Melwood on July 2.
But he’s unlikely to do so after saying back in May: “I want to stay at Milan. I do not want to return to Liverpool. I was never happy at Liverpool.”
