Paige Spiranac reveals she received death threats and was branded ‘washed up porn star’ and ‘whore’ in baseball row
PAIGE SPIRANAC has revealed she was brutally labelled a 'whore' and threatened with death threats by baseball fans.
The 27-year-old former professional golfer angered supporters of the San Diego Padres when joking about their fanbase.
Spiranac joked that no Padres fans went to their games 'when they sucked' after a video surfaced of them celebrating on the streets following their win against the Cardinals.
Speaking on her podcast, the American social media star said: "I was under the perception that no one liked the Padres.
"In my 27-years I have never met a Padres fan, then I saw a video of everyone celebrating and being so excited in San Diego.
"I retweeted the video and said 'this is funny as no one turned up to their games when they sucked.'
"Then I had all these Padres fans... I got lit up!
"I ended up apologising and regretting it because I was getting death threats, people were like 'come to El Cajon and I will cut you.'
"Some guy called me a washed-up porn star, he said 'a washed-up porn star has no right talking about baseball - get back into it whore.'"
It is not the first Spiranac has received death threats online.
Earlier this year she revealed the horrendous abuse she received after having a nude photo leaked.
The social media personality, who has 2.8million followers, sent the picture to a guy she was dating, but things turned nasty after they broke up.
