Harry Maguire insulted Greece in foul-mouthed rant and attacked officers, court statements claim

MAN United skipper Harry Maguire insulted Greece in a foul-mouthed rant, according to newly released statements.

Maguire, 27, his brother and a pal also allegedly attacked police officers.

He is appealing after being given a 21-month suspended sentence for charges including assault.

But in the court statements, officials say the trio “insulted Greece, the Greek police and the culture of the country in a vulgar way” repeatedly telling them to “f*** off” and adding “f*** the Greek civilization”.

According to the documents, Maguire punched and kicked a sergeant and brother Joe punched the officer in the face.

One says the trio continued fighting and resisting officers when taken to a police station.

The England defender claims Albanian gangsters attacked his sister Daisy, 20, before last month’s brawl with undercover police on the island of Mykonos.

He says he, Joe, 28, and pal Christopher Sharman, 29, were framed.

But the statements also dismiss claims his sister was attacked. A spokesman for Maguire declined to comment tonight.
