England new-boy Marcus Rashford is the only star NOT to have Three Lions badge on Euro 2016 suit after FA cock-up

Decision to call up Manchester United ace came as a surprise everyone... but has left squad's tailors particularly red-faced

MARCUS RASHFORD'S Euro call-up came as a huge surprise to…the FA.

The starlet forced his way into the England squad with a goal just three minutes into his debut against Australia – having played only 18 games for Manchester United.

Yet it was too late to put the finishing touches to his official M&S suit.

Rashford beat the likes of Jermain Defoe, Andy Carroll and Andros Townsend into Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad for the finals in France.

And the 18-year-old was the only star to jet off to France without the Three Lions crest on his breast pocket.

And an insider admitted the lack of preparation time led to the mistake from the seamstresses tasked with specially altering the £199 outfits from Marks’ autograph range.

He said: “The players are generally fitted up in March and for those that come into the squad after that, there is less turnaround time.

“It was a simple error, an oversight. It’s certainly no mark on him.”
