Man City boss Pep Guardiola makes surprise free transfer swoop for Welsh U21 star Cameron Coxe after Cardiff release

MANCHESTER CITY are making a shock swoop to sign Cameron Coxe after he was released by Cardiff City.

The 21-year-old full-back was deemed surplus to requirements by the Championship side’s boss Neil Harris.

Coxe could be sent to New York City, Melbourne City or Girona, all sister clubs in the Manchester City Football Group’s portfolio, on loan to get further experience.

The ace was handed his debut at Cardiff back in 2017 but has made just four senior appearances in total.

He has represented Wales at U21s level and was named by Ryan Giggs in his senior squad for the 2018 summer friendly with Mexico.
