Arsenal draw up four-man transfer shortlist including Man Utd flop Depay and Wolves’ Jimenez in case Aubameyang leaves
ARSENAL have reportedly drawn up a four-man shortlist to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang should the Gunners captain leave the club.
French outlet Le10Sport claim that Wolves striker Raul Jimenez tops a list that also includes Lyon skipper Memphis Depay.
The Mexican – who was previously urged to join Manchester United this summer by his international boss – has bagged 17 Premier League goals this season.
The 29-year-old, who is said to carry a £90million price tag, recently insisted is ignoring the transfer talk and is happy at Wolves.

Mile Arteta has also lined up another out-and-out frontman in Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.
Arsenal are said to remain in talks with the 23-year-old’s entourage and have sent a number of scouts to watch the striker this season.
Dembele has been also been a long-term target for Manchester United, even since his Fulham days before Marcus Rashford burst on to the scene and shelved their plans to sign the Frenchman.
The striker’s Lyon team-mate Depay is also understood to be on Arsenal’s list.
Gunners boss Arteta is believed to rate the Netherland International’s technical ability as well as his flamboyant personality.
Depay, 26, struggled to make an impact during his two-year spell in England at Old Trafford but has since enjoyed a resurgence in form in Ligue 1.
His contract is due to expire next summer and he is looking elsewhere after Lyon failed to qualify for Europe for the first time in 23-years.
Aubameyang has also featured on the wing this season, with Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin the last man mentioned on Arteta’s shortlist.
Newcastle boss Steve Bruce recently hailed the Frenchman as the best buy of the season and insisted there is “no chance” of him leaving.
The 23-year-old, a £17m signing from Nice, has scored three goals and bagged four assists in his debut Premier League campaign.
Meanwhile, Arteta is yet to give up on securing Aubameyang’s future at Arsenal.

The 31-year-old, who currently earns around £198k-a-week, has banged in 25 goals in all competitions but has just a year left on his contract.
Arteta said recently: “When I was talking about the uncertain things that we have on the table, obviously he’s one of them.
“With Auba, I think I’ve been very clear with what I want. The quicker we do it, for me personally, the better because the player will be more focused, more determined and more calm. But we have to respect the timings as well as the needs of the football club.”
