WWE star Rhea Ripley undergoes dramatic transformation as she reveals stunning new blonde look
WWE star Rhea Ripley has sent fans wild after undergoing a dramatic transformation.
The Australian ditched her trademark dark slicked-back cut for a stunning new blonde look.
The 23-year-old made her WWE debut in 2017 at the Inaugural Mae Young Classic where she sported long flowing blonde locks.
And Ripley revealed she changed up her look to avoid comparisons to fellow Aussie superstar Toni Storm.
She told Chasing Glory host Lilian Garcia: "Growing up in Australia, I always had the long beachy hair.
"That was just who I was, but then when I got here and Toni Storm was also here, people kept saying we looked the same because we're both rockers, as well. I was like, 'I've got to steer away from Toni,' and a few people mentioned that I should cut my hair and I thought about it as well."
Ripley has mow unveiled a hybrid of her two different hairstyles after sharing a photo of herself with her boyfriend and fellow wrestler, Demetri Jackson.
Fellow NXT star Chelsea Green wrote: "OKURRRR w the hair!"
Another said: "Looking beautiful."
A third added: "Oh snap. Super Saiyan Rhea."
Former NXT champion Ripley has recently been feuding with Robert Stone and his newest client, Aliyah.
She bested the duo in a 2-on-1 handicap match during the first week of the black and gold brand's 'Great American Bash' event.
However, Ripley may have her sights set on greater heights after Raw women’s champion Asuka named her as the person she would like to face at a possible second Evolution PPV.
After hearing about Asuka’s comments, the former NXT Women's champ tweeted: “Interesting. I’ve always wanted to face @WWEAsuka.”
