CHELSEA are set to ‘make contact’ with Timo Werner but face a transfer battle with Liverpool for the RB Leipzig striker who loves the Reds.

But according to Kicker, the Reds now face a battle with Chelsea to secure the German’s signature with the Blues making direct contact with RB Leipzig to sign Werner.
