Man Utd urged to go on mega transfer spree on Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish by Wes Brown

WES BROWN has urged Manchester United to go on a mega transfer spree on Jadon Sancho, James Maddison and Jack Grealish.

The former Red Devils defender says he would love his old club to sign all three and insists any of them would be a 'perfect' fit at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are plotting a squad rebuild at the end of the season and are expected to fork out around £274million on world class signings.

The Red Devils have been closely linked with Sancho and Grealish since the start of the year but are also thought to be eyeing up a move for Maddison.

And Brown thinks his old club should attempt to sign all three.

He told "I would have all three! Any one of those three would be great,

"Jadon Sancho would probably be number one, but James Maddison looks fit and ready and determined and would also be a great asset for the club.

"Jack Grealish is an individual that gets things done, takes control of the game and has his own style. Any one of those three would be perfect I think."

Borussia Dortmund’s Sancho has been a name at the top of the shortlist for a while with the Red Devils weighing up a £100m move.

The 20-year-old has wowed fans in Germany with his amazing performances since arriving in 2017, scoring 31 goals and assisting a further 42 in 90 appearances for Dortmund.

According to reports, the England starlet is "very open" to joining United this summer and is close with his pal Marcus Rashford.

The effects of the coronavirus crisis will see some clubs needing to sell star assets in order to help ease financial pressures.

And this is set to benefit sides with deep pockets like Manchester United.

Grealish, 24, is also high up on Solskjaer's wish list after impressing for Villa amid their difficult campaign.

He has scored seven and assisted six in 26 league appearances – his best season to date and could cost United around £60m.

However he tarnished his reputation when crashing his £80,000 car after being out at an all-night party – just hours after urging everyone to stay at home.

Solskjaer has been chasing Leicester playmaker, Maddison, 23, all season and is set to bring him to Old Trafford as part of the mega bucks summer spree.

Maddison is under contract at Leicester until 2023 and is said to still be considering putting pen to paper on a new deal.

The 23-year-old  – who joined Leicester from Norwich in a £23m move in 2018 – already has nine goals and three assists to his name this season.

And he reportedly overtook Grealish in Solskjaer's wish list when the Villa ace defied the Government’s strict lockdown orders to contain the coronavirus.

Sancho has 11 senior caps for England with two goals and one assist and Maddison made his debut in November.

Grealish is yet to feature under Gareth Southgate but there have been shouts for him to be given a call up.
