Question of Sport to make return on Radio 5 Live with Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson staying at home
QUESTION OF SPORT will make its radio debut on Saturday - complete with the usual star-studded line-up.
The popular show will take place on Radio 5 Live with the stars recording from their own homes.
The TV version is still on air, as it was recorded some time ago.
Four new episodes of the programme will initially be recorded to keep sport-deprived fans entertained.
Phil Tufnell and Matt Dawson will take up their normal positions as the two team captains.
Sports presenter Mark Chapman will be in charge of asking the questions on Saturday's show.
Dion Dublin will join forces with Tufnell, while Karen Carney teams up with Dawson.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated show, Dawson said: "I'm looking forward very much to going up against Tuffers on BBC Radio 5 Live from Saturday.
"Obviously it will be a bit different to what we are used to on the TV but I hope we can spread the QS joy even further with this show.
"I'm still not sure how they are going to do the Picture Board though?"
Tufnell added: "Can't wait to get QS on the radio waves, and it's always good fun to work with my old mate Chappers.
"Looking forward to audiences all being able to get a double helping of the show; Friday night on TV with Sue in charge and Saturday afternoon on the radio!
"Tune in and let's all have some much needed fun."
The show, which will be recorded with all participants in their homes, will start at 2pm on Saturday.
After the radio show was confirmed, one fan on Twitter said: "Oh my god that's amazing!!!"
