Cyclist Harm Vanhoucke ‘driven off road and attacked by driver’ while training during coronavirus lockdown in Belgium
BELGIAN cyclist Harm Vanhoucke claims he was attacked by a van driver while training outside during his country’s coronavirus lockdown.
There have been 339,590 cases of COVID-19 around the world, leading to 15,205 deaths.

And Belgium is one of many countries which has been placed in lockdown to control the outbreak.
However, professional athletes have been given permission to continue training outdoors.
But that didn’t stop an irate driver from “repeatedly punching and kicking” Vanhoucke as the 22-year-old cyclist rode his bike on Saturday in the village of Aalbeke, located in West Flanders.
Vanhoucke claims he was forced off the road by the van driver, who then left his vehicle and proceeded to assault the athlete.
Vanhoucke took to Facebook to talk about the ordeal, and has asked for help in identifying the suspect.
He wrote: “The man got out aggressively and I urged him to keep his distance.
