Fallon Sherrock earns fandom of Sex in the City star Sarah Jessica Parker after world championship heroics
FALLON SHERROCK’S darts triumphs have earned her a glowing tribute from Hollywood superstar Sarah Jessica Parker.
The Sex And The City actor and producer has been wowed by the single mum from Milton Keynes becoming the first woman to beat a man at the PDC World Championship.
Should SJP ever consider turning Fallon’s London success into a movie blockbuster, she could call it Double Six In The City.
Parker, who played New York columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the US TV show, told her six million followers: "Making history and our hearts stop as we watched in astonishment and awe.
"A household of fans and admirers send their congratulations."
Sherrock, who was also hailed by tennis legend Billie-Jean King, said: "I’d love to encourage more girls to take up darts.
"That would make me proud.
"My best moment was when I made history.
"No one can take that away from me."
Her march to the third round, where she was beaten by Chris Dobey on Friday, earned her £25,000.
The money will go towards buying key equipment for her autistic five-year-old son Rory.
She said: “This can enable me to get sensory stuff for my little boy.”
