KSI vs Logan Paul rematch: American claims he’s beating pros in sparring as he promises to KO YouTube rival
LOGAN PAUL claims he is crushing pros in sparring as he warned rematch rival KSI: "You will lose everything when I KO you."
Yank Paul insists he now has the ability and belief of a serious fighter - after "feeling like a YouTuber who was pretending" when the online celebrities drew in Manchester 14 months ago.
Ahead of their cruiserweight showdown without headgear in LA on November 9, Paul also revealed he is targeting a UFC fight once he has "collapsed" Brit KSI'S career into a "sad meme".
Vlogger Paul, 24, told a packed press conference: "I have been practising with heavier gloves so when I put the smaller ones on, I will be like lightning.
"I am sparring professional fighters and I am beating them badly. That does so much for my confidence.
"I relied on my athleticism to carry me through the first fight and it almost worked.
'NO NERVES NOW'
"But now I am a boxer, I am literally a professional fighter and I feel like it.
"I love the idea of beating up the person who is trying to beat me up."
And Paul believes, in this age of instant fame, he will ruin 26-year-old KSI's profile with a devastating victory.
He said: "This fight is different because it is not nerve-wracking. Last year I came here with some anxiety about my boxing ability.
"I believed in my fitness and athleticism and how hard I worked but I did not feel like a boxer. Now my boxing will speak for itself."
Paul - who boasted he had been "one of the best wrestlers in Ohio" - stressed his regime under a former world heavyweight champ is as tough as it gets.
He said: "I train in my backyard, I ship sparring partners in from all over the world and my coach is Shannon Briggs
"We like to keep it low key. I don't like going to spar in public gyms because there is always one tough guy who wants to try to prove his point.
"You have people on their cell phones trying to film you sparring and that is not my vibe."
Eyeing a later switch to mixed martial arts, Paul added: "I will have progressed too much to ever fight another celebrity or YouTuber after this.
"I would honestly love to fight in the UFC. I want Dana Whyte to put me in the Octagon.
"Last year I f****d around and showboated but this time it will just be a knockout."
