Doha 2019 World Athletics Championships LIVE: Women’s 4x400m team lose out in relay as Brit runner falls in men’s final

IT was an eventful two final races for GB in Doha - as the women came fourth, then third and finally fourth in their relay.

The 4x400metre women's relay team looked distraught as they crossed the line in fourth in the final.

But their misery soon turned to joy as they were upgraded after a disqualification.

However an appeal meant they were demoted once again.

The men failed to finish after falling in their relay final.

Earlier tonight Shara Proctor and Abigail Irozuru failed to medal in the women's long jump and three Scots in the 1500 metre finals missed out on a top three finish.
