GABBY LOGAN almost turned the air blue with an embarrassing gaffe live on the BBC that had Olympic stars Denise Lewis and Jess Ennis-Hill in stitches.
Presenter Logan was hosting the Beeb's prime-time coverage of the World Athletic Championships in Doha on an impressive day for the British team.
Logan, 46, had earlier seen Dina Asher-Smith scorch to a brilliant 200m gold medal to become the new queen of athletics in the UK.
And she then went on to review an impressive first day in the heptathlon for big medal hope Katarina Johnson-Thompson in Doha with her illustrious guest pundits.
Lewis famously won gold in the seven-discipline event at the Olympics in Sydney in 2000, while Ennis-Hill won the title at London 2012.
And with Johnson-Thompson finishing the first day in the lead, Logan was keen to ask the experts how the British star would be able to switch off and sleep overnight with a gold medal up for grabs.
But the presenter only succeeding in producing a double entendre which almost tripped up a stunned Lewis.
Logan asked: "But if you've got to go through the whole day like that, in your mind - I imagine everybody is different, but what did you do to get yourself off?"
Lewis, 47, first looked stunned but ever the professional tried to style out the rude thoughts, but couldn't help but snigger as she replied: "Well thing thing is, she has to enjoy, the 200m the hurdles, the things that have gone well."
The moment was spotted by a viewer who filmed the exchange and posted it directly to Logan on Twitter.

The anchorwoman replied: "I don't know how Denise Lewis held it together. I owe her."
And Ennis-Hill added: "I could not stop laughing. I was giggling like a schoolgirl! Brilliant!!"
Lewis then retweeted the clip with the message: "Non disclosure out the window?"
Her tweet drew a laughing response from fellow Sydney 2000 champion Kelly Holmes, with British long-distance runner replying: "Hilarious."
