I tested Hexclad pans — they’re £230 cheaper for Black Friday and Gordon Ramsey likes them too
IF you're looking to get your mitts on some celebrity-endorsed cookware without getting burnt on price, Hexclad Black Friday deals might come in handy.
The brand a couple of days ago, and there are discounts of hundreds of pounds to be claimed.
You're probably familiar with Hexclad, even if you've never heard the name.
Its cookware is instantly recognisable thanks to its black-and-silver hexagon design, which you'll spot all over TikToks made by food influencers and celebrity chefs.
The brand is approved — and, indeed, part-owned — by the famously fussy Gordon Ramsay, who claims to exclusively use Hexclad cookware in his kitchen.
I got my hands on a set a few months ago for Sun Shopping's Hexclad review.

Truthfully, I had mixed feelings about them.
While they're certainly stylish and convenient, not to mention more durable than most non-stick pans, they're not as non-stick as Hexclad claims and they can be damaged by cooking over very high heat.
However, my main gripe was the cost.
The I tested (which comprises six pans, six lids and a wok) usually costs £729, making it a real investment.

Thankfully, Hexclad Black Friday deals reduce this cost significantly.
The 13-piece set is now £499, a discount of £130 — or 38%.

However, I probably wouldn't buy the 13-piece set, which includes three saucepans.
I don't need my saucepans to be non-stick; I only use them to boil pasta, potatoes or rice, or to simmer sauce.
Instead, I'd opt for the , which includes three frying pans (30cm, 25cm and 20cm) and corresponding lids, as well as a wok.
7 Pc Hybrid Cookware Set with Lids and Wok, £439 £329 from Hexclad
The set has a total value of £568 (i.e. the cost of buying each part of the set separately), and usually retails for £439.
In the Black Friday sale, it's been reduced to £329, a discount of 25%.
Buy More, Save More
Another way to shop the Hexclad Black Friday Sale is its Buy More, Save More offer, which grants discounts based on how much you spend:
- Spend £100 to get £10 off
- Spend £250 to get £35 off
- Spend £500 to get £100 off

The discount does not apply to already-reduced sets, so the best way to shop is to create your own bundle of products.
If I were to recommend one pan it'd be the , which is usually £179.
30cm Hybrid Pan, £179 from Hexclad (save in Buy More, Save More deal)
It's the perfect size for cooking meals for multiple people; you can sear two steaks at a time without overcrowding your pan, or make a stir-fry big enough for a few people.
If you were to just purchase the pan, it'd only qualify for £10 off. However, you could combine it with other purchases for a bigger discount.
Will the Hexclad Black Friday deals get any better?
Helpfully, Hexclad has confirmed that this is as good as its deals will get during the Black Friday period.
That means that, if you've made a considered decision to make a purchase, it's worth acting fast; popular items like the 30cm Hybrid Wok are already sold out.

Being a traditionally American phenomenon, it falls the day after Thanksgiving is celebrated in the US.
However, deals seem to launch earlier and earlier every year, and this year we saw some retailers pull the trigger on deals as early as the end of October.
