TRICHOTILLOMANIA is a condition where you pull out your hair, and I have been dealing with it since I was a teenager.
I've been trying to repair my damaged hair, help new hair grow, and soothe my scalp after years of pulling.
A product that's been really helpful is the L’Oréal Paris Elvive Hydra Pure Exfoliating Pre-Shampoo Scalp Serum - and it's currently on sale at Boots.
L’Oréal Paris Elvive Hydra

I regularly stock up on this from L'Oreal as it's different from any other hair product I've used.
Despite the name "serum," it's more like water in texture, light on the hair and scalp, and absorbs easily.
I like that it doesn't feel heavy on my head or clog my hair follicles like some treatments do.
The formula contains skin-friendly ingredients like salicylic and glycolic acid, which help clean and purify the scalp.

While it's not advertised as a hair growth product, I've learned from trichologists that a healthy scalp promotes stronger hair growth.
I really like how the bottle is designed. The nozzle has a small screw cap at the tip, which makes it easy to apply the product to specific areas of the head and control how much comes out.
Since the formula is liquid, it's a bit runny. The small funnel is a smart addition that helps control how much you apply to the scalp.
The slim nozzle allows you to reach the roots directly, rather than just the hair strands. This is important for getting the best results from the product.
This might seem like a small thing, but when you use it and compare it to other hair treatments, you'll see why I appreciate this design feature.
I often feel my scalp sore from pulling my hair, so I need hair products that work well, are light, and gentle. This does just that.
It calms the sensitive area and cleans the hair follicles to remove any dirt or grease that can block healthy hair growth.
This serum is perfect for days when I've used dry shampoo too much or skipped washing my hair for a while, and my roots are greasy.
It feels terrible to keep my hair up for days until it hurts, but this serum instantly cools and gets rid of the greasiness.
It's great for deep cleansing when your regular shampoo and conditioner may not be enough, even if they're top-notch.
After the first use, my hair felt fresh, light, smooth, and very clean.
It's easy to use. Apply the Scalp Serum 15 minutes before washing your hair, then use your regular shampoo and conditioner or other products from the same line.
Boots also offers a set with Pre-Shampoo treatments, shampoo, and conditioner for a complete hair care routine.
The but is valued at £26.99.
It's a versatile product that meets many needs and is budget-friendly, especially with Boots' £10 Tuesday deal.
Others at Boots also love this product, so it's not just me who's impressed.
One online review read: "It helps to remove excess oil from my roots. This left my hair feeling lovely and fresh and my scalp rejuvenated.
"This serum along with the shampoo and conditioner, makes my roots stay fresher for longer. It smells lovely and fresh."
Another customer gushed: "Very easy to apply and remove from the scalp/hair and the scent is amazing.
"Great if you have [a] build-up on [your] scalp, or [an] itchy/flaky/oily scalp."
While a separate shopper wrote: "I have not been using this for very long but I have most definitely noticed a difference. After using [it[, my scalp feels new again."
