Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer, £149.99 £119.99

I'm hoping we still have a few more sunny days of being able to hang clothes outside on the line, but let's be honest: the forecast at this time of year is rather unpredictable, so nothing beats being prepared.

The beauty of a heated clothes airer is that clothes dry fast rather than sitting around still wet for days – which, in turn, helps to prevent issues like damp and mould.

Lakeland's version costs an estimated 6p per hour to run (based on the unit cost of electricity of 30p per kWh), making it a really economical buy.

TURN UP THE HEAT

It also serves as a great way to gently heat a room if you don't want to put the heating on straight away – perfect for taking the edge off a chilly day.

Small in size but large in capacity, the Dry:Soon Mini is capable of holding up to 15kg of washing, with an impressive 13m of drying space.

It's essentially a smaller and more compact version of Lakeland's (also currently reduced by £40) and it folds down to just 8cm deep: perfect for small living spaces, as you can easily store it in gaps behind furniture when not in use.

Our reviewer loves that you can 'fit a week's worth of washing' on the Dry:Soon MiniCredit: Lakeland

Dry:Soon Mini 3-Tier Heated Airer, £149.99 £119.99

Sun features writer Haley Minn recently put the airer to the test in our best heated clothes airers round-up.

She praised it for its 'great size', and the fact you can 'fit a week's worth of washing on it.'

She added: 'What’s great about this airer is its size. It has three layers and is tall, rather than folding out, which can be extremely beneficial for smaller spaces.

'It also has more bars to dry clothes on than the two from Amazon and Aldi I tested, holding a week’s worth of washing.

'Lastly, it uses only 229Wph, which means it costs 62p for eight hours of usage.'

Elsewhere, shoppers have been leaving glowing reviews too.

'Absolutely love this product,' raves one. 'I had a non-heated one and my clothes dried so slowly they smelt musty, but since I’ve bought this product I have lovely clothes again.

'Dries even really thick items quickly.'

'Mini but mighty' says another. 'The whole unit feels very sturdy, especially compared to other brands in similar styles... Great purchase for year-round drying.'

While another five-star review says simply: '[This is] one of those products where you think: how did I ever live without this?'

It's not clear how long Lakeland will be running the offer, so I'd recommend snapping one up now if you don't want to miss out on the discount.

While you're there, you might also want to pick up the which will keep the heat in and speed up clothes drying even further.
