are, in our opinion, some of the most comfortable footwear we own; I have attended numerous weddings, whether as a bridesmaid or wedding guest and swear by New Look heels to see me through the entire day.
So, if the flat sandals are as comfortable as heels, you know you'll be wearing these all summer.
The Leather Look Chunky Sandals are made from a faux leather fabric, whereas some Hermes designs are made from leather, soft suede, or shearling, depending on the style.
The New Look sandals feature a chunky style, which boasts cushioned padding to protect your feet, unlike some flat sandals I have worn where I can feel every stone or pebble under my foot through the thin sole.

These sandals have a flexible sole, which not only provides comfort when wearing but moulds to your feet for a perfectly snug fit.
They are slip-on but feature a velcro strap across the foot to secure your feet in place.

The upper design is what really stands out on these sandals, and makes them look very similar to Hermes.
The front detail features a chunky bar fixed strap across the toes and bridge of the foot, combined with the second velcro strap, which is where the likeness to Hermes' Chypre sandals comes into play.
Admittedly, if you look close enough you will see a slight difference, but that's for eagle-eyed shoppers and dupe spotters.
On the Hermes sandal, the upper body of the shoe is in an H-shape to resemble the brand, followed by the second strap velcro, whereas New Look's upper looks more like a sidewards K-shape.
Paired with a maxi skirt, dress, full-length jeans or trousers, it'll be hard to tell the difference - plus considering the gap in the price tags.
The come in two colours, as we previously mentioned, and are available in UK shoe sizes 3 to 8, though New Look has advised if you are in between sizes to size up.
While New Look's sandals come in two shades, Hermes comes in an array of colours, and fabrics, but the price varies depending on the style you choose.
We would wear these sandals with jeans of any length, a cami top and a linen shirt for casual everyday attire in the summer seasons, layered over a bikini or swimsuit for a beach day on our next holiday, or with a chic summer dress for a summer garden party.
We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw New Look's Hermes sandals dupe, but we're not the only ones.
The summer shoes have garnered an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars from shoppers, with some hailing the design "perfect" and "comfortable."
One happy shopper gushed: "I love the sliders. I am sceptical about chunky footwear, as I find them too heavy and uncomfortable but this is very lightweight, beautiful and affordable. I recommend it."
Another praised: "I love these shoes, having the extra bar across means for the first time I can wear sliders, both for comfort and my wide feet!"
A third added: "I was a bit worried that when these came they wouldn't look as good as they do in the photos but they do! I bought them for a holiday in a couple of months and wanted something I could walk a lot in and still feel comfortable and stylish.
"The material is soft and doesn't seem like it would rub at all. The footbed is soft and squidgy. As someone with narrow feet, I appreciate the velcro strap because it makes a world of difference to me."
A separate shopper's review read: "Seen these popping up all over social media and pleased to get hold of a pair. They have a shaped footbed so your toes can grip, the front part is not adjustable but the strap at the top is which means you can loosen or tighten as needed.
"Can't wait for warmer weather to get these on, over time the main panel over the top of the foot will loosen with wear so is great to have the adjustable strap at the top too. Look great on and will go with all sorts of things."
Another swooned: "A summer must have! Really comfortable, and the strap helps to keep the sandals on and when they give in the future they can be tightened.
"Look so similar to the Hermes black sandal but for an amazing price! Will look great dressed up or down", while a separate New Look shopper echoed: "Love these. Comfy, look great and a very similar look to a very expensive pair from a company that features an H as their logo. If you know you know!"
The only issue is shoppers want the New Look sandals in more colours, as one commented: "Absolutely thrilled with these sliders. So comfortable and classic looking.
