Missing the Traitors? Where to buy Claudia Winkleman’s outfits including Dr Martens, cosy jumpers and more
CLAUDIA Winkleman is our latest style icon, her outfits have always impressed on Strictly Come Dancing, but her Traitors wardrobe is on another level.
Claudia recently returned to present the second series of the BBC One show, which had the nation on tenterhooks, and not least to find out who the traitor was, but what she was going to wear.
It has been reported the first series raked in 34 million views, while the second series, and the latest instalment, brought in almost double that.
Now we know the show is gripping, what with Diane Carson's gripping murder and all, but Claudia Winkleman's YSL shag fur coat and balloon sleeve knitted red jumper has also had us in a chokehold.
Claudia turned to stylist Sinead McKeefry to perfect her wardrobe for The Traitors, and now we think we need to consult the fashion guru on all of our outfit choices forever more.
While we know having our own Sinead may not be attainable we can take a leaf out of her style book and Claudia's fashion wardrobe to revamp our style.

Claudia's signature look is poker straight deep brunette tresses with a thick blunt fringe she can barely see through, a golden bronze glow, and a muted lipstick, and has been for many years.
Some of the popular wardrobe items on repeat include blazers, long tailored coats, textured fabrics in the form of velvet, embellishment, and woolly knits, as well as tartan, tweed, statement collar blouses, chunky boots, roll necks, trench coats and more.
Some of the popular brands Sinead calls on repeat include Yves Saint Laurent, The Vampire's Wife, Holland Cooper, Bella Freud, Spanx, Dr Martens, Hunter, and Brora Fashion.
While some of Claudia's Traitors wardrobe is out of our budget, unsurprisingly some of it has also sold out too.

So if you are looking to channel your inner Claudia, we have found similar pieces to add to your wardrobe.
Episode 1: Longline smart coat
Ever since The Traitors returned to our screens, and to the finale, a long-length smart tailored coat was a recurring outerwear staple in Claudia's wardrobe.
Admittedly Claudia switched between different colours and prints, but the style remained the same - longline, falling midway down the calf, straight fit for a slimming shape, long lapels, collar, and button front fastening.
For the first episode, Claudia sported a Holland Cooper design in the Blackwatch variation, a separate khaki design from Officine Generale in episode 10, a herringbone tweed outerwear staple from Bella Freud in episode six, as well as an all-black design to mourn the loss of Diane.
A smart tailored longline coat is perfect for all shapes and sizes, and is perfect for smartening up any outfit, as well as nights out.
You'll want to look fora coat where the shoulders sit perfectly on your shoulders, it is a straight cut, not raglan sleeves, and preferably a thick wool fabric so it holds its shape.
- Premium Double Breasted Italian Wool Tailored Coat, £129 (Was £209) from Warehouse -
Episode 2: Green Fisherman Smiley Face jumper
Bella Freud is known for her bold and quirky slogan jumpers, which was the telltale sign Claudia's green knitted jumper with smiley faces on the elbows was from the designer brand.
Sinead paired the jumper with a green tartan kilt by Brora.
If you're unsure about opting for the same colour palette in one outfit like Claudia in khaki, or this Bella Freud creation may be a bit out of your price range then don't fret as you can shop plenty of Fisherman style cable knit jumpers.
The knit is it is timeless and insulating, perfect for the autumn and winter months.
You can pair it with a skirt for a more dressy look, or leggings and Wellington boots for early morning frosty winter walks.
- Chain Cable Knit Polo Jumper, £45.49 (Was £64.99) from Superdry -
Episode 3: Checked trousers
Claudia Winkleman recycled her khaki tailored coat throughout the season, and in episode three opted for farmcore as she layered the jacket over checked trousers, tucked into wellies and a fair isle jumper.
Boden's Westbourne Wide Leg Trousers look very similar to Claudia's trousers and make for a versatile yet smart outfit.
What we love about these patterned trousers is you can dress up and down, no matter the occasion, or season, and are a welcome alternative to jeans.
- Westbourne Wide Leg Trousers, £98 from Boden -
Episode 4 (and almost every episode): Leggings
We are a sucker for comfort, and turns out so is Claudia Winkleman.
Throughout The Traitors series, Claudia opted for chic leggings with an oversized jumper, and it's a trend we can get on board whether we are working from home, or heading into the office - now made acceptable because of Claudia.
Sinead turned to WARDROBE.NYC leggings, Spanx and Decathlon jodhpurs, when styling Claudia, as they provide coverage, are fitted and hug the body, while also providing the necessary support.
- Women's Horse Riding Jodhpurs 100, £17.99 from Decathlon -
Episode 4 - Round Table: Dr Martens Boots
For the round table segment in episode four of The Traitors Claudia changed into her finery - The Vampire's Wife, a popular premium brand Sinead flocked to when filling Claudia's on-set wardrobe.
The embellished mini dress with 3/4 length sleeves and puff shoulder detail is perfect for date nights, weddings and eveningwear, but what we love is the feminine frock has been paired with grunge Dr Marten boots, which are a failsafe footwear staple to see you all through the year.
Claudia's exact boots are the 2976 Hi Smooth Leather, which Claudia hailed as "the best boots of all time" in an interview with .
But, inevitably Claudia's exact have sold out at Dr Martens, as well as Office, due to popular demand.
- 2976 Quad Smooth Leather Platform Chelsea Boots, £200 from Dr Martens -
Episode 5: Trench Coat
Trench coats never go out of fashion, with British heritage brand, Burberry, being the go-to luxury label for the garment.
Of course, Sinead turned to Burberry to style Claudia, as she paired a stylish double-breasted trench with a camel-coloured button-front cardigan, white poplin shirt and wellington boots.
Trench coats are super versatile and can see you through almost every season.
Style like Claudia for everyday attire, pair with a tracksuit set if you are in and out of the car running errands, with jeans, a fresh white t-shirt and trainers, or over a dress for an extra layer when heading out for the evening.
- Cotton Rich Belted Longline Trench Coat, £79 from M&S -
Episode 8 - Round Table: Velvet Blazer
Claudia sported a variety of velvet garments during the second series of The Traitors, including a burgundy velvet blazer, as well as black velvet leggings.
Velvet is typically a fabric used in the winter seasons as it provides extra warmth, and is super luxe looking.
Velvet combined with rich jewel tones is a stunning combination too, though blazers in any style, colour, print or shape, are a huge favourite in Claudia's The Traitors wardrobe - and ours.
Pair your blazer with leggings and a turtleneck, over a t-shirt, long-sleeve basic, or bralette, pair with leggings, trousers, a satin slip skirt, or a chic dress, it will instantly elevate any outfit.
- Mango velvet co-ord blazer, £130 from ASOS -
Episode 8: Tartan kilt
The Traitors is set in the Scottish Highlands, so understandably tartan played a prominent role in Claudia's The Traitors wardrobe, from the subtle detailing on her Holland Cooper coat to the green Brora tartan skirt, and the monochrome tartan kilt from episode eight.
We suspect Claudia's exact skirt is the which retails for £550 and has almost sold out but we've found a similar alternative.
For a cosy, yet stylish, Claudia-like look pair your tartan skirt with tights and loafers, knee-high boots, and a thick knit jumper.
- Cameo Rose Brown Dogtooth Pleated Mini Skirt, £25.99 from New Look -
Episode 9: Red knit jumper
Claudia's red knit jumper with balloon sleeves is arguably one of the most, if not the most, iconic and memorable outfits the presenter wore from the show.
Claudia's exact rouge knit is from Belgian-Australian brand Mr Mittens and retails for a hefty £400.
A chunky knit is a failsafe wardrobe staple, and all we live in come the winter months as you can dress it up or wear it casually.
Wear on its own over leggings and your beloved Ugg Tazz boots, pair with jeans, and layer under a ruffle frill blouse like Claudia for a more put-together look.
- Balloon Sleeve Knitted Sweater, £29.95 from NA-KD -
Episode 11: Shaggy coat
Claudia's YSL shaggy coat is iconic, and Sinead let the coat do all the talking as she styled it with Hunter Wellington boots.
Shaggy designs were hugely popular a few years ago, but the trend fizzled out, until now and we expect more textured and tactile designs to come back around.
Whether you wear leggings, jeans, or a skirt is up to you, plus you can shop different length shag creations, from shaggy cardigans, to longline outerwear.
It's certainly a statement garment so mute the rest of your outfit to let the outerwear layer steal the show.
- Stargazer Fur Jacket, £158 from Free People -
Season 2 finale - Embellished Blazer
Claudia combined glitz and glamour with her go-to staples for the finale, as she sported a black embellished blazer, which was from The Vampire's Wife.
She let the blazer shine - quite literally - as she paired the garment with a plain black base, which consisted of a turtleneck, black leggings and boots.
