8 high-street coats for 2024 that look seriously expensive but won’t break the bank
A good coat is a winter wardrobe essential, and the best ones will keep you warm in the cold weather yet also look stylish with any outfit.
New outerwear can be a big investment, but we've scoured the shops to find some high-street coats that look way more expensive than their affordable price tag.
A fabulous coat is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit and we have found several beautiful options for those on a budget.
Whether you're looking to go oversized and wear lots of layers underneath or want a clean and more streamlined silhouette, a good coat should keep you warm and look smart.
Want a luxe look? A tailored, belted coat is a safe bet, but in recent years many designers have favoured quilted jackets, and as long as you choose the right one it can still look expensive.
Wool coats have been increasingly popular in recent years but can be expensive. While a wool coat is worth the investment, luckily for shoppers you can steal the look for less.

This luxe-looking Warehouse coat is available in black, navy, pistachio and camel – and we're obsessed.
As with most of these coats, it's the finishing touches that make them look expensive, and with this Warehouse number, it's the gold buttons and wrap detail that caught our eye.
It's currently reduced by 40% but still available in lots of sizes, so snap it up before the sale ends.

Fur-Effect Coat with Appliqués
This is the Mango coat that became a viral sensation last year for closely resembling an £800 Toteme jacket, resulting in it repeatedly selling out.
