LEGO Black Friday 2024: save up to £100 in the Argos sale

BLACK Friday is on the horizon, and we've already spotted some great deals on LEGO.

The brand has confirmed that it will be taking part in this year's festivities, but hasn't yet pulled the trigger and launched its sale.

However, there are some great deals to be found at third-party retailers, if you know where to look.

When is Black Friday 2024?

This year Black Friday is 29 November.

It always falls the day after Thanksgiving in the USA as it was originally a US phenomenon.

These days, retailers across the world take part in what has become the biggest sales event of the year.

Deals tend to start in the run-up to Black Friday but the best bargains are to be had on the day itself.

The shopping weekend traditionally closes at the end of Cyber Monday, but for the past few years, we’ve found fab offers continuing beyond the sale weekend, making this a great time to shop for Christmas gifts.

Always do your research before buying as when you shop around you can be sure you’ve found the best Black Friday deals available.

Is LEGO taking part in Black Friday this year?

LEGO has confirmed its participation in this year's sale season with

It's keeping its cards close to its chest and has decided not to reveal exactly when deals will launch.

The website simply reads: ";Come back soon for more great offers and gifts with purchase."

Last year the toy brand published discounts of up to 30% off popular sets, including and .

However, bucking the trend of running deals for the entire of November, LEGO only discounted products for Black Friday weekend.

It's also worth noting that LEGO is widely available in other stores, so it's worth keeping an eye on sales at Argos, , John Lewis and Amazon.

Last year saw price cuts across a host of different ranges, including sets from , , , , and .

LEGO members were also able to take advantage of numerous early Black Friday deals, and we think that could well be the same this year.

Other retailers also stock LEGO so you're not limited to the official LEGO store when it comes to shopping for the best offers.

You never know, you may even pick up a slightly better deal with a different retailer.

As well as , other high-street retailers have jumped on the brick-building bandwagon, giving you plenty of ways to save.

The offers come ahead of the festive period, so if you've got little ones (or big kids) at home - it's a good opportunity to stock up on cheaper Christmas presents.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is LEGO taking part?

Cyber Monday falls the first Monday after Black Friday and marks the end of the four-day annual sale event.

That means this year, Cyber Monday is 2 December and you can expect a raft of great deals that day also.

Originally intended for online retailers, Cyber Monday has extended to the offline space too, including most of your favourite high-street retailers.

You may well find new deals released just for the final day of the event so it’s worth keeping track of any products you’re interested in.

LEGO took part in Cyber Monday last year so chances are the brand will do so again this year.

How much does LEGO’s shipping cost?

If you go for standard shipping – two to four days – then it will cost £3.95 for delivery if you spend under £50.

Spend over £50, which let’s face it, is very easy to do, and standard shipping is free.

Express delivery is available and that takes one to two working days, however, it costs an eye-watering £18.

You can also opt to pick up your order in person from a DPD Collection Point and this costs the same as standard delivery, so £3.95.

Does LEGO offer any other discounts?

Yes, LEGO has sales during the year and also offers discounts on sets due to be discontinued – at the time of writing you can save 30% on a variety of soon-to-be-retired products.

You can also join LEGO Insiders to earn points every time you spend. These can then be redeemed against sets, events and merchandise.

And of course, when you sign up for LEGO emails you’ll be among the first to hear about new offers and sale prices.

When did LEGO's 2023 Black Friday Sale end?

LEGO's main Black Friday sale ran from Friday 24th to Monday 27th November – Cyber Monday.

However, other retailers that sell LEGO offered longer sale periods.
