    When is Black Friday 2021?

    Black Friday falls on the day after the American Thanksgiving holiday each year. In 2021, it will be on Friday November 26.

    However, you won't have to wait until then to start shopping the bargains, as many retailers start discounting their products two weeks before the actual day. That's why it's always best to be prepared and know exactly what you want to buy before the day arrives.

    When is Cyber Monday 2021?

    Cyber Monday is on Monday November 29 this year, following Black Friday and the weekend known as Cyber Weekend. Most retailers who take part in Black Friday continue deals through to Cyber Monday.

    Tools will almost definitely be heavily discounted, with Amazon, B&Q, Screwfit and ITS among the companies offering discounts.

    We expect that there will be a wide range of offers available on Cyber Monday too, with some stores likely to offer up to 50% off products throughout the whole weekend.

    What to expect from power tool retailers in the Black Friday 2021 sales

    Based on last year's sales, we're expecting a slew of retailers to offer some great deals this November.

    In 2020, retail juggernaut Amazon offered up to 40% off a range of power tools, with some discounts worth hundreds of pounds. Special emphasis was put on tools from Bosch and Dremel. We'd expect similar scenes this year.

    B&Q, whose name is almost synonymous with tools, offered less dramatic— but still significant — sales across its site, with plenty of power tools discounted by £20 or £30. Sure, they're not life changing discounts, but it's enough for a few extra pints in the pub after a long day of DIY.

    We'd expect Halfords to offer similar levels of discount to B&Q, with the best discounts reserved for its well-rated line of Halfords-branded tools. If last year is anything to go by, we'd also expect it to offer an e-voucher to customers whose spending crosses a certain threshold — last year it was £50.
