When is Black Friday 2024?
Wondering when Black Friday falls? This year, the shopping event falls on 29 November.
Black Friday traditionally falls the day after Thanksgiving, which is the fourth Thursday in November.
However, the calendar falls a little differently this year, and Black Friday will be on the fifth Friday in November.
Some retailers start discounting items as early as the start of the month – so it's worth keeping an eye out for early-bird deals.

Last year's sale had a whopping 40% off, so it's definitely advisable to hold out until the sale begins if you're looking to make a purchase – plus it's a great time to get Christmas presents sorted.
What to expect from Dr Martens’s Black Friday sale 2024
Dr. Martens has not yet announced what to expect from its Black Friday sale.
But, if previous years are anything to go by, we'd anticipate Dr Martens will take part in this year's Black Friday sale, and launch huge discounts at that.
Black Friday 2023 bargain hunters enjoyed 40% off the brand's range of shoes – plus an extra 10% off for Cyber Monday.
When is Cyber Monday 2024?
We have a full guide to answer 'When is Cyber Monday?', but the short answer is that it takes place on December 2 and follows Black Friday.
Cyber Monday is considered the online-only counterpart to Black Friday, and the grand finale of the Black Friday seasonal discounts.
If you need your order sooner, you can opt for next day delivery which costs £5.50, while Saturday delivery is £8.50.
You can of course head directly into a store to save any delivery fees, but the item you are wanting is not guaranteed to be in stock, and Black Friday crowds are famously nightmarish.
