Emma Original Mattress, from £271.20 -

Pros

  • Doesn't get too hot

Cons

Rating: 4.5/5

Our review was off to a good start with the shipping, as Emma offers free delivery right to your front door so getting your brand-new mattress is as simple as.

Our reviewers found it a breeze to unpack the mattress and set it up for a good night's sleep - always a plus if you've had a long day.

And a good night's sleep it was; the memory foam is very supportive, helping to relieve back pain when you settle down for the night.

The Original sits somewhere between firm and medium-firm, so if you prefer a really soft mattress, it could be worth exploring other options.

One of the perks of this firmness is that if you sleep next to a restless partner, it minimises the impact of their nighttime movement on your sleep.

Our reviewers found the Emma Original mattress to be a godsend in the summer as the Airgocell foam helped regulate body temperature and provided a cool night's sleep.

The mattress also comes with a washable top layer to help you keep things fresh after warm summer nights.

If that's not enough to sway you, you get a 200-night, risk-free trial to test the mattress out, with your money back if you still think it's not quite right for you.

All orders are dispatched within two to three days, and delivery is free and contactless.

We've put it through its paces in our Emma Premium Mattress review, but read on for a summary of our honest verdict.

Emma NextGen Premium Plus mattress -

Pros

  • Supportive
  • Comfortable
  • Easy and quick delivery
  • Comes in an impressive range of sizes

Cons

  • Takes some time to break in
  • No contact delivery means no help carrying the mattress in

Rating: 5/5

The difference between the Emma Original and the Emma Premium mattresses is the hybrid technology.

Whereas the Original relies on memory foam alone to support you through the night, the Premium has a combination of foam and springs within a cooling cover for the perfect slumber.

Our tester found the mattress to be a fantastic combination of super soft and supportive while delivering a cool night's sleep as well, thanks to the cover and the layer of the brand’s Point Elastic Airgocell foam.

So if you often run hot while sleeping this may be the mattress for you.

The technology of the NextGen Premium Plus creates optimum support with seven different zones of springs for different parts of the body, such as the lower back, shoulders and hips. In addition, the Halo memory foam moulded to our tester’s shape, improving her sleep quality.

After just a few weeks, aches and pains had disappeared and she woke each day feeling refreshed and well-rested.

Her overall quality of sleep improved and the mattress continued to be incredibly comfortable, with no noticeable wear or sagging in the months that followed.

All in all, it's a five-star review for the Emma Premium Mattress from us!
