Films and shows are brought to life through 4K entertainment, HDR 10, and Dolby Digital Plus, so even when your show isn't in 4K, it will still be upscaled to provide a better picture quality.

Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV
- Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV, £499 (Was £549.99) -
The Omni's QLED screen is among the best money can buy, aside from the industry standard (and very expensive) OLED screens; it is the same screen seen on other high-end TVs from companies like Samsung or Sky Glass, so if you're already familiar with those, you know you're in safe hands.
Quantum dot technology is used by QLED screens. It provides some of the most vivid colour reproduction on screens as well as visibly improved colour contrast, so despite being a more expensive TV, it's definitely a noticeable upgrade on a lot of the technology out there.
Shopping around for the right 4K TV can be slightly difficult with all the different technical jargon different companies use to promote their screens, so ensure you check out our guide to 4K TVs and why they're worth the money.

When does the Amazon Boxing Day sale 2023 start?
Amazon has not officially stated when its Boxing Day sale will kick off, but we anticipate it will fall on 26th December.

The Amazon sale will normally feature a selection of offers across all categories, with lightning deals that last for a very limited time and longer running offers.

What Amazon Boxing Day sale deals to expect?
If early bird deals are anything to go by, we would say some of the most impressive savings will be on Amazon's own devices.
Shoppers in the market for some new smart home accessories or streaming devices should keep an eye out come January.
Elsewhere we expect some top brands to also feature in the discounts, with bargains on offers from Samsung, Philips, Apple, Nintendo, and more.
Bargain-hunters will also likely see plenty of fashion and beauty savings, such as Sanctuary Spa, Elemis, as well as Revlon.
