Becks played for Italian club AC Milan during his long career, while Victoria’s designs have appeared at the city’s fashion week.

Last night’s event was to mark state visits by King Charles and Camilla to Italy and the Vatican this April, and to celebrate sustainability concepts Slow Food and Slow Fashion.

They will join Pope Francis in celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year.

Jubilee is a special year for the Catholic Church – a year of walking together as ‘Pilgrims of Hope’.

Becks is an ambassador for the King’s Foundation.

Guests included actors Stanley Tucci and Dame Helen Mirren, who won an Oscar as Elizabeth II in 2006’s The Queen.

Charles, Italy’s UK ambassador Inigo Lambertini and Mr Tucci all gave speeches.
