PRINCESSES Beatrice and Eugenie are desperate for Prince Andrew to change, a royal expert has claimed
Royal photographer and expert Arthur Edwards spoke on The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show to Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson.
When asked about Princess Beatrice and Eugenie's relationship with Andrew, he said: "I think they would love their father still as he's been very kind to them and good to them.
"There would be no reason why they wouldn't.
"They would probably be like Sarah Ferguson, his ex-wife - probably desperate for him to have a change in his life but it's not going to happen."
Andrew has been under intense scrutiny since becoming embroiled in sex allegations over his long-standing friendship with the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The King laid off Andrew's ten-strong private security detail in August last year and the dad-of-two hasn't received an income since the scandal erupted.
However, Arthur believes his two daughters still have much love for their father.
He said: "I'm sure they still love their father and he will be there for pictures with the grandchildren [and] for the baptism and the christening.
"He's their father and I think they still love him.
"He's always been a good father and he's always been with his girls."
Arthur continued that he believes the best way for Andrew to continue his life is to avoid any further scandals.
He said: "The best thing for Andrew now is for everything to go quiet and he just lives a quiet life."
However, just last month it was revealed Andrew had lied about ending his contact with Epstein in 2010, after a photo of the pair of them in New York that year was discovered.
High Court files instead showed that the prince had emailed the notorious child sex offender in 2011 saying "we'll play some more soon."
This comes as Arthur also slammed Andrew for his past behaviour, saying he crucified himself and will never be able to leave the UK again.
Arthur said a pivotal moment for the prince was when he lied in his infamous Newsnight interview.
During his chat with Emily Maitlis on November 16, 2019, Prince Andrew denied knowing Virginia Giuffre who had accused him of sexual misconduct.
This was despite a widely circulated photograph showing him with his arm around Giuffre's waist.
Arthur believes since that point Prince Andrew has "brought it on himself."
He said: "It's all because he lied in that interview when he sort of said 'I don't know this girl.'
"And you pay this girl a lot of money, someone you 'don't know.' It was arrogance. I was cringing watching it.
"I was thinking, what are you saying? You're crucifying yourself. He brought it on himself, and for that, he's suffering."
"It was an absolute disaster for him and for the royal family and the King had no choice but to cast him aside."
Prince Andrew paid millions to Virginia Giuffre in a court settlement three years ago, while denying sexual assault accusations.
