PRINCE Andrew has crucified himself and will never be able to leave the country again, a royal expert has slammed.
Royal photographer and expert Arthur Edwards said a pivotal moment for the Prince was when he lied in his infamous Newsnight interview.
During the interview with Emily Maitlis on November 16 2019 Prince Andrew denied knowing Virginia Giuffre who had accused him of sexual misconduct.
This was despite a widely circulated photograph showing him with his arm around Giuffre's waist.
Arthur believes since that point Prince Andrew has "brought it on himself."
He said: "It's all because he lied in that interview when he sort of said 'I don't know this girl.'

"And you pay this girl a lot of money, someone you 'don't know.' It was arrogance. I was cringing watching it.
"I was thinking, what are you saying? You're crucifying yourself. He brought it on himself, and for that, he's suffering."
"It was an absolute disaster for him and for the royal family and the King had no choice but to cast him aside."
This was revealed when Arthur spoke to The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson on the Royal Exclusive Show this week.

Prince Andrew paid millions to Virginia Giuffre in a court settlement three years ago, while denying sexual assault accusations.
He also insisted that he no longer had contact with notorious child sex offender Jeffery Epstein after a photograph of them from 2010 in New York was discovered.
However, High Court files also revealed the prince emailed Epstein in 2011 saying "we’ll play some more soon."
The Sun reported that friends said Duke of York is too terrified to go to the US now.
"I think he'd be stupid if he did go to America now, with all this hostility towards him and the fact that it's now come out that he had further contact with Jeffrey Epstein," the royal expert added.
Arthur doesn't believe the FBI would investigate Prince Andrew again but said they should turn their focus on another royal.
He said the FBI should investigate Prince Harry for potentially "lying" on his US visa application, rather than looking into Prince Andrew.
In the Duke of Sussex's memoir Spare, the royal admitted to consuming cannabis, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Arthur continued: "The FBI have investigated it once, I'm sure they've got better things to do.
"Why don't they investigate Prince Harry?

"Harry got a visa when he admitted taking drugs at school."
His reaction came in response to a request by the lawyer for the victims of Jeffrey Epstein that the royal family and UK government hand over Prince Andrew to the FBI for an investigation.
