Inside Pippa Middleton’s multi-million property empire – including £15m pad that’s ‘more impressive’ than Kate’s
HER sister may be the future Queen, but Pippa Middleton has an impressive property portfolio of her own.
The wife of hedge fund manager James Matthews lives in a £15million Berkshire home that is said to even be “far more impressive” than Princess Kate’s modest but homely four-bed pad, Adelaide Cottage.
And this is on top of the £1.5million farm the Matthews family splashed out on in 2020.
Here are some of the properties belonging to Pippa and her husband…
£15million Berkshire pad
Pippa, 41, is said to have been a pillar of strength for Kate, 43, with her preventative cancer treatment, and doesn’t live far from the Wales family’s Windsor cottage.
Pippa and James - along with their three children; Arthur, Grace, and Rose - live in a 32-room Georgian mansion set in 150 acres which they purchased in 2021 in an off-market sale.

And they immediately set about adding some swanky features.
In 2022, the reported: “I can disclose that the Princess of Wales’s sister plans to dig up the massive walled garden where the previous owner lovingly cultivated fruit and vegetables.
“In its place, Pippa and investment banker Matthews want to install a huge outdoor swimming pool.
“At 82 ft x 19 ft, it would be more than twice the size of a typical private pool and the same size as those at her two local leisure centres in the Royal County of Berkshire.
“Next to their pool, the lawn will be dug up and replaced with a tennis court.”
The kitchen garden’s potting shed is said to be converted into changing rooms.
The renovation work reportedly needed planning permission because the walled garden and main house are Grade II-listed and lie in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and near ancient woodland.
£1.5million Bucklebury Farm
As well as living in their £15million Berkshire house, she also co-owns Bucklebury Farm which could soon have a new business venture opening.
The couple bought the 72-acre Bucklebury Farm in Berkshire back in October 2020 for £1.5million, and they now run it with business partner James Murray.
The location was previously a deer safari park, but they have since transformed it to have glamping pods and to be a kid's attraction with ziplines, a petting zoo and a play area.
There are more than 160 animals, including rabbits, goats, donkeys, pigs and chickens.
And now they are looking to expand the farm with the opening of a nursery for kids ages 9 months to five years.
This is after they wanted to open up a lodge for parties, events and Pilates, according to the Mail.
Pippa and her husband have previously been spotted at the farm, along with Kate Middleton and her kids.
10,000-acre Scottish estate
Although it’s not hers yet, Pippa could one day inherit the Glen Affric Lodge in Scotland, which is owned by David Matthews, the dad of James.
In 2018, David purchased the estate, which aside from the main house includes 10,000 acres of land and a loch.
The sale price isn’t known, but the cost to rent the lodge for three nights is £11,800 for eight people, or £17,800 for a group of 16.
Glen Affric Lodge was built between 1860 and 1872 and has eight bedrooms and a number of grand living rooms, including a whisky room.
James’ brother Spencer Matthew, who starred on Made in Chelsea, tied the knot with wife Vogue Williams there in June 2018.
Meanwhile, David Beckham filmed an advert for his Haig Club whisky there in 2014.
Special role Pippa Middleton could get when Kate is Queen
KATE Middleton is extremely close to her family, including mum Carole and sister Pippa.
And when Prince William’s wife becomes Queen one day, her beloved family members could be in line for some special honours.
Royal author Phil Dampier told Fabulous that Pippa Middleton could be given a similar role to Queen Camilla’s younger sister, Annabel Elliott, who is one of her six “companions”.
He said: “I certainly think there could be a role for Pippa as a lady-in-waiting or companion type role.
“This needs to be someone the then Queen can trust and rely on, and who better than her sister?
“Pippa has some commercial interests but I’m sure by the time Kate becomes Queen she would be happy to fulfil that role if required.
“It’s not necessarily a full time job so she would be available.
“We all know what a sensation she was at their wedding in 2011 and since then she has kept a relatively low profile and of course is happily married.”
Another person he thought could be in line for a “companion” position is Kate’s stylist and close friend Natasha Archer, as she is “someone else she trusts and would be ideal for a supportive post.”
