King Charles set to star in Amazon Prime documentary after estranged son Harry’s deal with rival Netflix

KING Charles is to star in a feature-length documentary for Amazon Prime focusing on his charity work and environmentalism.

It began shooting last month and will aim to “show, not tell” how to “transform people, places and ultimately the planet”.

Sources said it will explore the philosophy of his 2010 book Harmony: A New Way of Looking At Our World, including climate change, architecture and agriculture.

A Palace source said: “The King is looking forward to seeing how the Harmony concept can be communicated to a new and international audience.”

Filming began at Dumfries House in Ayrshire, and it is due to air on Prime at the end of 2025 or start of 2026.

Rival Netflix has a multi­million-pound deal with Charles’ son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan.

In 2022 the Sussexes made a six-part docuseries with Netflix called Harry & Meghan, which looked at their exit from royal life.

Harry has also released a series about polo and Meghan’s lifestyle programme, With love, Meghan, is due to be released in March.
