Meghan Markle delaying Netflix show because of devastating LA wildfires after hugging victims & donating toys with Harry

MEGHAN Markle has postponed her new Netflix show filmed alongside A-list pals because of the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.

The eight-part series titled "With Love, Meghan" has been pushed back by almost two months and will now premiere on March 4.

Meghan said in a statement to Tudum, the official companion site to Netflix: "I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California."

The show's original release date was January 15.

Meghan joined Prince Harry in a surprise appearance in Los Angeles to meet the victims of the devastating wildfires this week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex served food and donated toys and essential supplies to the victims outside the World Central Kitchen in Pasadena.

Harry and Meghan live in Montecito which sits just 90 miles from Los Angeles.

Their 16 bedroom mansion, which also boasts a two-bed guest house, is said to have faced a power cut amid the fires.

The with more than a dozen still missing as the flames continue to burn across several neighbourhoods.

The couple urged people to evacuate the area immediately and sent out a list of links to places where locals can find help if they've been affected.

In a show of solidarity with the victims and the authorities who are still battling to extinguish the flames, Meghan pushed back the release date for her With Love, Meghan.

There will be eight 33 minute episodes featuring a host of Meg's various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet "elevated" food.

Fellow Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, who played Dana Scott on the hit show, made an appearance in the trailer.

Producer, actress and comedian Mindy Kaling could even be seen saying this was "one of the most glamorous moments" of her life.

A montage of various clips in the nearly two minute video showed Meghan walking through vegetable patches and fields.

She was also filmed browsing through florists hand selecting beautiful flowers for table arrangements, showing off her creative side.

The Duchess even tried her hand at beekeeping, fully suited up, as she collected honey.

A description of the new Netflix series on Tudum's website says: "Produced by Meghan, With Love, Meghan blends practical how-to's and candid conversation with friends, new and old.
