A "DEVASTATED" Meghan Markle has paid tribute to her beloved Beagle Guy with a sweet video of her kids Archie and Lilibet singing "we love you".

Meghan, 43, revealed she's been left in floods of tears over the death of the animal she rescued long before she met Prince Harry in 2016.

In a touching video shared on her Instagram page, Meghan revealed never-before-seen clips of her family life with kids Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

She said in the post: "Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy.

"You filled my life in ways you’ll never know."

She added: "I have cried too many tears to count."

Photos and video also feature Prince Harry who is seen on a walk with Guy and Archie - while Lilibet is seen on a picnic with Meghan and the little pet.

The tribute video begins with a 2015 snap of Guy before a clip of Meghan kissing him on a bed.

There are then several pics of the two snuggling together before Harry is seen with Guy while his front leg is in plaster.

The dog is also seen on a bed with Union Jack flag sheets, as well as in home video footage of him with Meghan's other dogs, and in professional shots together.

Archie is then seen holding his lead as he takes him on a walk with Harry.

In another clip, inside a car, the little royal warns his mum the dog is "gonna fall".

She responds: "He's not gonna fall, don't you worry, Mama has him."

And then Guy is filmed running on a beach as a voice - presumably Harry's - says "come on, Guy! Good job".

The video compilation ends with audio of the kids and Meghan singing: "We love you Guy, oh yes we do."

ADOPTION

The duchess adopted the beagle in 2015 from a rescue shelter in Canada where he was referred to as "the little guy" due to his tiny size and frail condition.

She previously posted about him on social media as well as her blog The Tig, which was taken down after she became a royal in 2018.

Meghan explained how Guy had a "terrible accident" shortly before she moved to the UK and doctors said he would never walk again.

She said her and Harry would visit him in Surrey over several months as he recovered, and has praised those who helped in.

Guy quickly stole the show on moving into Kensington Palace and even "wrote" his own book about his "rags to riches" tale, which hit shops in November 2018.

The book was called His Royal Dogness, The Rebarkable True Story of Meghan Markle's Rescue Dog, and Guy is listed as one of the “authors”.

The story follows the beagle’s journey, from getting lost in the woods in Kentucky, to being rescued by the then-actress Meghan, and eventually setting off on his royal adventure to London.

It comes after Meghan made a bombshell return to social media last week with a video of her running along a beach barefoot and writing 2025 in the sand.

The tribute to Guy is just the third post on the account.

NEW SHOW

Meghan has also shared a trailer for With Love, Meghan in which the Suits star will share tips on cooking, gardening, crafting, flower arranging and hosting.

Guests on the Netflix show will include celebrated chef Alice Waters, actress Mindy Kaling and close friend Abigail Spencer, one of Meghan's former co-stars.

Prince Harry also appears briefly in the trailer for the eight-episode series.

"I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it," the Duchess of Sussex wrote on Instagram.

She added: "Beyond grateful for the support - and fun!"

In Memory of Guy

In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada.

He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love.

They referred to him as ‘the little guy’ because he was so small and frail, so I named him ‘Guy’.

And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.

If you followed me on instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him - and on The Tig too.

He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort.

He endured a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK which had him undergoing surgeries for several months and unable to leave the clinic.

Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could do it.

H and I would drive late at night, after hours, to see Guy as he recovered in Surrey for months on end.

I will always be grateful to Noel and his team, the team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our vets now, and my friends and community: Thank you for loving him so.

Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.

I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are.

And that’s okay too.

Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know

As ever,
Meghan
