Adorable moment Prince Louis ‘tells’ mum Kate ‘we’re looking out for each other’ during her Christmas carol service
The young Prince echoes his mum's sentiments
PRINCE Louis told mum Kate “we’re looking out for each other” in an adorable teaser video for her carol concert, a lip reader has claimed.
In a heartfelt video shared on social media of the carol service, Kate beams down at Prince Louis, six, who appears to reassure her.
Lip Reader Nicola Hickling told The Sun the young Prince is saying: “We’re looking out for each other.”
The footage, released on The Prince and Princess of Wales‘ Instagram today, promotes the royal carol service, which will be shown at 7.30pm on Christmas Eve.
It shows the ceremony as it unfolded on December 6 in Westminster Abbey, with numerous royals including Kate’s three children Prince George 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis.
In a released introduction to the programme, the Princess explains how love and empathy should spread far beyond the festive season and advocates for the importance of kindness and forgiveness.
This follows a difficult year for the family with Prince William calling 2024 the “hardest year in my life.”
It comes after Prince Charles’ cancer diagnosis, and Princess Catherine’s shock cancer announcement.
The year was described as “annus horribilis” – one of the worst years the royals have faced.
In a sweet moment at the end of the clip, Kate exchanged a tender glance at her youngest and gave him a loving smile, putting her words of love into practice.
On the Instagram post, the caption read: “This service reflects upon the importance of love and empathy, and how much we need each other, esecially in the most difficult time of our lives.
“Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this year’s celebrations.”
Her Royal Highness released a pre-recorded introduction to the Christmas carol services emphasising the importance of unity.
In the personal prelude, Kate relays: “Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, it is a time for presents, tinsel and mince pies, but it’s also a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all.”
The Princess explains how love and empathy should spread far beyond the festive season and advocates for kindness and forgiveness.
She smiles at Prince Louis as he supposedly says “we’re looking out for each other,” echoing her sentiments.
Kate asked her friend Lady Gabriella Windsor to help plan the touching service that is set to be broadcast on ITV.
She was offered an advisory role to the team around music performances throughout the service and accepted, excited to be part of the planning.
Kate was supposedly very grateful for her friend’s contribution and the pair were able to reflect on a tough year together.
After the Princesses’ introductory words, the service will feature Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald to narrate the rest of the programme.
It will also feature performances from singers Paloma Faith, Olivia Dean and Gregory Porter.
