Mike has something in common with the Royals

FORMER England rugby ace Mike Tindall says he didn’t have to try hard to fit into the Royal Family.

Tindall, 45 — who wed Princess Anne’s daughter Zara Phillips in 2011 — writes in an upcoming book: “Believe it or not, marrying into the Royal Family was pretty easy for me.

“They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them.

"Simple really.”

His experience is in stark contrast to that of Prince Harry’s actress wife, Meghan Markle.

They quit royal duties in 2020, less than two years after marrying, and moved to California.

Tindall wrote his book, The Good, the Bad & the Rugby — Unleashed, with podcast pals James Haskell and Alex Payne.

It documents their four year tenure on the show, reflecting on highs, lows, and memorable interviews with Royal family members.

He says of the royals: “They are a family who love sport.

"Catherine loves her running.”
