Prince Harry to give emotional speech in New York as he follows in his mum Princess Diana’s footsteps
PRINCE Harry is set to give an emotional speech in New York as he follows in his mum Princess Diana's footsteps.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, will be in the Big Apple during the UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week, which takes place from 22 to 29 September.
Harry will embark on a solo trip to New York City and take part in a number of engagements, including with African Parks and The Diana Award.
And he will take to the stage tomorrow during an event hosted by the HALO Trust, a landmine clearance charity which Diana worked with before she died.
Princess Diana famously walked through an area being cleared of landmines in Huambo, Angola, a few months before her death in 1997.
The image went on to become one of the most iconic photos of the late princess.
