PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle have “lost Hollywood” and “once you’re out, you’re out”, claims a PR commentator.

Mark Borkowski appeared on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show following Meghan being dubbed “Duchess Difficult” by staff, according to a brutal US report.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, was described as a “dictator in high heels” who fires off raging emails to employees at all hours, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

Mark told The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson: “I think they probably have lost Hollywood.

“One thing about Hollywood is that it's the home of corporate entertainment, the world of the business of show, and it's a small community.

“Once you're out, you're out, and that's why PR is knee-deep in the heart of Beverly Hills.

“Some of my friends in that sort of line of work in that part of the world will say, ‘Our job is to protect our clients from themselves.’”

The PR guru described Hollywood as a “brutal world” and said the “Maverick royal couple” had initially been embraced with “all their glamour.”

However, following a number of their bombshell interviews criticising the royal family, he claimed the shine may have disappeared on their grand arrival.

Sussex ventures

Mark explained: “There's only so far you can operate with a bleeding heart, constantly talking about your distance and the way the royal family has treated you.

“Sooner or later, that seemed to be the continual narrative that never changed.

“The biggest problem for them is that many of their ventures have not worked, and that became news.

“The Netflix deals, podcasts, and content just didn't work.

“There are only so many Oprah-style interviews you can actually do.

“If you don't have the currency and are perceived as negative, and your inner sanctum, your staff, reflects poor judgement, then you lose your power.”

Mark Borkowski PR expert

The PR expert also pointed out the challenges the Sussexes have had with funding their new lifestyle, following purchasing their £12million Montecito mansion in California.

He continued: “In Hollywood, it's also about making money, and they need to make a lot of money because they're cut off from the source.

“If there's no positivity, no smiles, and just angst covering their brand, then it becomes unwound.”

Critical report

A source, said to be close to the California-based couple, claimed to The Hollywood Reporter: “Everyone’s terrified of Meghan.

"She belittles people, she doesn’t take advice.

"They’re both poor decision-makers, they change their minds frequently.

"Harry is a very, very charming person — no airs at all — but he’s very much an enabler. And she’s just terrible.”

The respected trade publication claimed that “noisy tantrums and angry 5am emails” had earned Meghan the title of “Duchess Difficult”.

Last month it was reported consultant Josh Kettler had quit as the Sussexes’ chief of staff after just three months, although the royal couple claim it was by mutual decision.
