Extra security barriers have been put in place to stop the eco idiots getting close to the gates of the castle.

Residents, dog walkers and tourists have all been advised to avoid the area from August 30 to September 1.

It was previously revealed XR activists plan to create a diversion on The Long Walk which would allow members of the group to break into the castle grounds.

In a report seen by , the protesters will also try and create mayhem in Windsor town centre by targeting hotels and restaurants and blocking roads.

A leading security and risk assessment organisation infiltrated XR group chats where the mass demonstration was discussed.

The non-violent action was also planned during a zoom meeting.

An investigator, who posed as an activist, listened as environmental zealots talked about the demo.

A risk assessment by a local business also revealed XR organisers are encouraging elderly and disabled activists to attend.

The eco rabble previously announced they would stage a mass occupation outside Windsor Castle to protest against the King — even though he is a green campaigner.

Climate activists claimed it is the "embodiment of a broken and unjust system".

But Charles, 75, has fought on environmental issues for 50 years.

Prince William, who lives on the estate, runs a £50million Earthshot Prize for innovations to save the planet.

The King will not even be at Windsor Castle during the protest because he will be spending his summer holiday at Balmoral in Scotland.

Extinction Rebellion says its occupation of Windsor Great Park is to urge the King to do yet more on green issues.

But the protest, called Upgrade Democracy, will not specifically target the King or any individual, it claims.

Catherine Bartlett, of Extinction Rebellion UK, said in a rambling press release: "Windsor Castle has been chosen as an embodiment of a broken and unjust system where our message will resonate powerfully.

"The general election has neither fixed our broken system nor addressed the urgent action needed to tackle the climate and nature emergency.

"Aristocrats, oligarchs and corporate interests have infected and distorted our politics and media for their own benefit and at our expense.

TINY BILL

By Julia Atherley

ECO zealots at Extinction Rebellion raked in £1.5million last year — but paid just £1,039 in tax.

The activists, famed for glueing themselves to buildings and blocking streets, revealed the bumper income in accounts for the company which funds its campaigns.

But Compassionate Revolution said its £1.486million costs and administration expenses meant it made a profit of just £27,784.

As a result, the company paid £1,039 in corporation tax, leaving it with a profit of £26,745 for the 12 months to the end of June 2023.

XR leader Gail Bradbrook, who once accused banks of "wholesale tax-dodging" after smashing the window of a branch in Stroud, Gloucs, signed off the accounts.

The group has also blockaded Amazon depots — accusing the company of stealing from the public by "depriving governments of tax revenue".

The company handles XR's income from donations, crowdfunding, NGOs and foundations.

It says it distributes the cash to help those protesting over the "climate and ecological emergency".

Its income to June 2023 was less than the £1.6million it received in the previous year.

"Our politics is failing us from top to bottom. It's time for a democratic upgrade.

"We demand better at all levels; from the head of state to local councils but our central demand is for a Citizens' Assembly on Climate and Ecological Justice, which is needed more urgently now than ever before."
