IT'S no surprise that Prince Harry wanted an invite to the world's most expensive wedding, a royal expert has said.
Earlier this month Anant Ambani, son of India’s richest man, married pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant in Mumbai.
And Harry is said to be "hoping to pop in" as the four-month global wedding tour heads to a prestigious country club in Slough.
It comes after the jaw-dropping £563million mega-nuptials bash saw 5,000 of the wealthiest guests celebrate together.
The Ambanis hired 100 jets to fly guests from around the world and booked them into five-star hotels booked too.
A-listers in attendance included Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Boris Johnson and wife Carrie and former PM Tony Blair and his wife Cherie.

Celebrations kicked off with a £126million pre-wedding party in March, at which Rihanna and Akon performed for 1,200 guests.
Then came a £94.5million cruise around the Med for 800 guests, with performances from Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys and Pitbull.
Now, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams, has shared how it is no shock the former duke was eager to get on the guest list.
He told The Sun: "I think that what is linked to this report about Harry, I think it's linked to the very desperate desire by the Sussexes to be seen at what we would call a list of events.

"I would say that, for example, in Hollywood, if you look at the list, say of those who in one way or another supported the royal family recently.
"There's a host of celebrities who are interested in or supportive of royalty."
The expert explained how Tom Cruise became in with the royals after he appeared at several events.
"We've had Tom Cruise on several royal events, in fact.
"There's no doubt at all that. He is very in with the royals."
Mr Fitwilliams also touched on rumours swirling around a reported feud between the Sussexes and the Beckhams.
"The Beckhams were reportedly close to Harry and Meghan, and also reports have been pretty consistent that the couples have fallen out," said the royal expert.
"This had something to do with the way David Beckham was snubbed or felt."
Richard is unsure whether the Sussexes will make an appearance at the highly anticipated after-party.
He said: "So will Harry attend?
World’s most expensive wedding party heading to UK
THE world’s most expensive wedding party — on a four-month global tour — is heading to Slough.
Over the next two months guests including Prince Harry and former PM Boris Johnson are expected to join the £563million celebrations.
Anant Ambani, son of India’s richest man, and pharmaceutical heiress Radhika Merchant married in Mumbai earlier this month.
And they have block-booked historic Stoke Park near Slough, Berks, until September.
The Grade II listed seven star hotel is owned by the groom’s dad Mukesh Ambani.
Around 850 golf club members have been warned to steer clear.
A source told The Sun: “The Ambanis don’t do things by halves and so thought nothing of booking the entire venue for two months.
"The cost is chicken feed to them. The bride and groom and family will attend different parties planned between now and September.
“Security, which is tightened, has been told to expect Boris Johnson and Tony and Cherie Blair. Prince Harry is also said to be hoping to pop in.”
Stoke Park was bought by Mukesh Ambani — who is the ninth richest man in the world — for £57million in 2021.
"We'll have to see, of course, but the reason for the rumours is very clearly the fact that you've got something that's very spectacular, and like Brooklyn Beckham's wedding, it's the sort of thing that they would want to make an appearance at."
The royal expert added that their charity, Archewell, hasn't gained much attention in Hollywood and is yet to speak a "great deal of interest regarding the rich list".
It comes after the Ambani wedding sparked as much controversy as curiosity in the poverty-stricken country.
Rihanna is said to have got £5million for her 90-minute performance, with the whole event coming in at £126million.
The weekend’s festivities began at the Ambani family’s 27-storey compound, worth £780million and containing three helipads, a 160-car garage and a private cinema.
Specialist weavers crafted for months creating around 100 rare silk sarees using gold and silver thread - valued at more than £100,000 each.
The wedding guests were also required to bring five outfit changes that complied with a whopping 18-page dress code.
Kim Kardashian was seen in a glamorous lehenga with intricate detailing — and a nose chain to match — while Khloe opted for a pink number in the day, swapping for a beautiful white and gold ensemble later.
Meanwhile, the 18.5-acre venue was illuminated by 1,000 crystal chandeliers and decorated with 20million flowers - arranged by 500 florists.
Guests sipped on some of the world’s finest vintage champagne and went through more than 30,000 bottles of bubbly.
When it came to the food, of course no expense was spared.
At the March celebrations, the couple offered their 1,000 guests 2,500 meal options.
