KING Charles was pulled for a chat by Love Island host Maya Jama at a Buckingham Palace bash.
The King and Maya coupled up on the lawn as the royals threw a garden party for stars from the world of entertainment including Sirs Ridley Scott and Lenny Henry.
Among the 4,000 guests who mingled with the King, 75, and Queen, 76, included Strictly star Tess Daly, 55, and her husband Vernon Kay, 50
Maya, 29, in a checked blue dress and matching wide-brimmed hat, said to the King: "I present Love Island, but I don't suppose you've heard of that."
The King gave a diplomatic gentle shrug and continued talking to his glam guest, saying: "There's one born every minute."
Prince Edward the Duke of Edinburgh, 60 and the Duchess of Gloucester, 77, also brought royal stardust to the second garden party of the year.

And for the King, 75, who revealed only three months ago he has cancer, it was his fifth public engagement in three days.
Earlier he had been joined by the Queen, 76, both wearing pink robes, attended a Service for the Order of the British Empire at St Paul's Cathedral.
Their joint appearance comes as no royals joined Harry for his Invictus Games service just seven days earlier.
The King returned to public duty last month after his doctors were pleased with his response to cancer treatment.

Artist Tracey Emin, 60, who was diagnosed with cancer four years ago also joined the party and after meeting the King said: "We spoke about health and painting.
"He asked me if I was recovering, which I am, and it was lovely to see the Queen too. I complimented them on their pinks - she said it was unintentional."
Ex-Strictly judge Arlene Philips, 80, was introduced to the Queen, and said afterwards. "She remembered me from when we last met. It was at a concert after I’d just been let go from Strictly and she said how much she missed me which was very kind.
"She asked me what I’ve been doing lately and I explained I was doing the choreography for Guys and Dolls. She said she had taken the grandchildren to see it and they loved it."
