PRINCESS Charlotte poses with posies in a charming photo taken to mark her ninth birthday.
It sees the youngster leaning on a fence covered in flowers in a sweet tribute to her beloved great-grandmother.
The purple blooms — Clematis Elizabeth — are named in honour of the late Queen.
The photo was taken by Charlotte’s mother the Princess of Wales at the family home in Windsor. It was posted yesterday by Kate, 42, and Prince William, 41, on their official social media channels with the caption: “Happy 9th Birthday, Princess Charlotte!
“Thank you for all of the kind messages today.”
Last week, Kate released a photo of Charlotte’s brother Louis to mark his sixth birthday.
