MEGHAN Markle needs to do three key things to ‘rebrand’ herself after her 'scatterbrained' career approach failed, claims a PR expert.
According to Natalie Trice, an author and PR consultant who has worked with CNN, Sense and James Cameron, Meghan must be consistent if she intends to rebrand herself in the UK.
Not only this, but Natalie suggested that it’s important that the mother-of-two makes some decisions - not just about her royal role but also about her desire to be in the public eye.
As well as this, the PR expert explained that Meghan, who is married to Prince Harry, must also champion the causes she is passionate about, like Michelle Obama.
As reported by , Natalie shared: “I don’t know who’s been advising them up until now, but their strategy seems so all over the place that I wonder if they’ve been listening to the advice they’ve been getting.
"A lot of the stories around them have been very toxic and negative.

“There’s plenty of rebuilding for them to do, but when you think back to the time of their wedding there was a lot of positive feeling for Meghan in the UK and I think they could harness that again.”
CONSISTENCY IS KEY
According to Natalie: “Meghan needs to be consistent if she wants to rebrand herself in the UK."
After Meghan recently launched her new business, American Riviera Orchard, Natalie added: “Up until now she’s had a very scatterbrained approach to her output, jumping from a kids’ book, to a podcast, to a lifestyle brand and so on. It doesn’t seem very joined up.”
MAKE A DECISION
As well as this, Natalie added: “There’s also no consistency in how they want to present themselves as a couple.

“People respond to a consistent narrative so a more joined-up approach on who she is and what her goals are will be the first job.”
CHAMPION CAUSES
Natalie expressed the importance of Meghan focusing on issues that matter to her, as she concluded: “She should focus her energy on using her platform and the way she’s overcome her own negative experiences to help other women.
What is Meghan Markle’s new business?
Meghan Markle has launched a new Instagram brand called American Riviera Orchard.
Industry insiders said the site will focus on home, food, garden and lifestyle goods.
A source told the Mail: "It’s a lifestyle and cooking brand called American Riviera Orchard.
"The brand is meant to coincide with the launch of a new cookery show for Netflix.
"Meghan will be making, and selling, products such as jams. And at some point there will be a book and blog etc."
“We saw a bit of that with the work she did with the Smart Works charity and an animal rescue home she opened in the UK recently, but it needs to go beyond just paying lip service to these causes.
“She needs to be seen getting out there, putting the time in and campaigning for issues that matter to her.

"There also needs to be a strong, cohesive, simple message.

The Three Things Meghan Markle Must Do
ACCORDING to Natalie Trice, a PR consultant who has worked with CNN and James Cameron, Megan Markle must do three important things to 'rebrand' herself.
1. Needs to be consistent in her output.
Natalie said: "Meghan needs to be consistent if she wants to rebrand herself in the UK. Up until now she’s had a very scatterbrained approach to her output, jumping from a kids’ book, to a podcast, to a lifestyle brand and so on. "
2. Needs to decide if she's royal or not, be in the public eye or not.
Natalie added: "There’s also no consistency in how they want to present themselves as a couple. Are they royals or are they not? Do they want to be in the public eye or do they want privacy?"
3. Needs to champion causes that she's passionate about.
Natalie concluded: "She needs to be seen getting out there, putting the time in and campaigning for issues that matter to her. There also needs to be a strong, cohesive, simple message."
“Meghan has a voice and a platform, what does she want to use it to say? Who is she and what does she really stand for?
