PRINCE William has the "weight of the world on his shoulders" and is said to have asked when Kate's trolling will stop, one author says.
Conspiracy cranks and shameful gossips have peddled wild nonsense about Kate's whereabouts and condition since an abdominal operation on January 16.
The Prince and Princess of Wales are said to be "shaken" by the unfair and cruel speculation, which has included the state of their marriage.
Even Vladimir Putin's troll army are fuelling hateful claims about the British Royals after bizarrely accusing the UK of meddling in Russia's sham election.
William has continued to carry out engagements while Princess Kate has been recovering, including a housing initiative in Sheffield on Tuesday.
Today he visited the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards at their barracks in Windsor. William is a Colonel of the Welsh Guards.

News has also broken about staff at The London Clinic allegedly accessing Kate's private health data.
reports that three staff at the Marylebone clinic allegedly looked at the information after Kate left hospital.
One royal author has written in the that William, 41, feels like he has the "weight of the world on his shoulders" while his father is also ill as the rumours swirl.
Rebecca English wrote: "I know he is angry, frustrated and, yes, deeply disappointed, at what has transpired over recent weeks. ‘When will it all stop?’ he is said to have asked."

William has been trying to protect his family from the kind of intrusion his mother, Diana, battled with, she said.
"William has now learnt the hard way that this degree of control does not extend to the sump of social media – let alone foreign publications and even prime-time US television – which are simply not subject to a fraction of the same regulation as news outlets here."
She writes that what might be most worrying to the Prince is the kind of discussions happening on the internet.
"Theories, including claims she used a body double at the Windsor Farm Shop and this week’s news about her medical records was purposely leaked to deflect from it."
SHOPPING TRIP
It comes as the dad who filmed Kate shopping with William has told conspiracy theorist trolls: “What more do you need to lay off her?”
Nelson Silva, 40, saw Kate “with my own eyes” looking relaxed in Windsor.
But yesterday trolls were still pushing their bizarre claims — despite The Sun releasing Nelson’s exclusive video of her at Windsor Farm Shop on Saturday lunchtime.
Incredibly, some said it was a Kate lookalike. Others that it was too tall to be her.
Another crazy claim was that the footage was taken in December as there are “Christmas decorations” in the background.

In under 24 hours the body-double rumours racked up more than 12million views on X/Twitter, and more than 11million on TikTok.
Engineer Nelson blasted the conspiracy theorists as “delusional”.
Speaking from the home he shares with his wife and daughter in the town, he said: “I’m not so much shocked that these comments have continued, I’m just confused how exactly they can continue.
“This is a video clearly showing her and William. I saw them with my own eyes. It was a completely relaxed situation.
“What more do you need to lay off her? I thought after this was released they’d go quiet. But these people are so invested in the drama now.

“They’ve put so much time and energy into these rumours and lies that they can’t pull the plug.
"Even famous people are guilty. People with a large platform online — they can’t admit they are wrong now because they look so delusional.”
'Lay off Kate'
THE Sun last week led the way in defending Princess Kate when she was being criticised from all angles over the edited photo saga.
Social media trolls were quick to attack the future Queen over her editing of a Mother’s Day family picture.
Media critics also weighed in with their opinions alongside the idiotic conspiracy theorists, but The Sun stood alone in saying: Lay off Kate.
Our front page blasted: “The furious attacks on the future Queen over her photoshopping of a Mother’s Day family picture are not just absurd.
“They now look like a bullying campaign against a devoted mum, recovering from a serious operation, who simply wanted to offer the public a perfect portrait of her and her kids.
“She meant well, made a mistake and fessed up. Fair enough.
“Now leave her alone to get over her op.”
