Prince William is on a mission to tackle anti-Semitism as he meets war heroes working on the ground in Gaza

PRINCE William is this week on a mission to "recognise the human suffering" from the war in the Middle East and tackle "rise of anti-semitism" around the globe.
The Prince of Wales, 41, will today meet heroes providing humanitarian aid and speak to people who have been on the ground helping those in need in Gaza.

He will also at a later date listen to young people at a synagogue to speak about experiences of hatred and anti-semitism since Gaza attacked Israel.
Last year, Wills and Kate reacted to the October 7 attacks on Israel and war in Gaza saying: "The Prince and Princess of Wales are profoundly distressed by the devastating events that have unfolded in the past days.
"The horrors inflicted by Hamas’s terrorist attack upon Israel are appalling; they utterly condemn them."
William toured Israel and Palestine in 2018 making him the first member of the British Royal to visit.

He also met Palestinian refugees living in a camp in the West Bank and spoke to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah.
Sources close to Kate and Wills say they are "profoundly concerned" by the violence in Israel and Gaza and "continue to hold all the victims, their family and friends in their hearts and minds".
Both "continue to share in the hope of a better future for all those affected", the palace said.
Figures released this month reveal the cases of anti-semitism have soared since the attacks on Israel on October 7.
