KING Charles only saw Prince Harry for 30 minutes to keep his stress levels down, a royal expert has revealed.
Writer and broadcaster Robert Jobson exclusively told The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson how aides plan to help in the King's recovery.
The monarch, 75, only met with Prince Harry on Tuesday for 30 minutes after he made the mad dash from California to Clarence House.
Any extended meeting would only end up delving into stressful topics which would hinder the King's recovery, Robert added.
He said: "You don't want his blood pressure going up. The King's not very well, whatever type of cancer it is, he's undergoing treatment."
He added the monarch will need calm to recover and may soon leave Sandringham to stay at quieter Wood Farm.
MORE ON CHARLES
"The best thing for him is calm," he said.
"After the initial kiss and hug, love you dad, hope you get better soon, what issues are going to get raised? Things that will get your blood pressure rising."

How Charles bravely revealed diagnosis to help others
KING Charles has bravely broken with royal protocol by sharing his cancer diagnosis.
Senior royals have in the past been tight-lipped about their health battles.
The last top royal diagnosed with cancer was Charles's grandfather George VI.
Heavy smoker George had his left lung removed for "structural abnormalities" in September 1951, months before he died.
The "abnormalities" were actually a life-threatening carcinoma, but the public never learned about George's cancer ordeal.
Buckingham Palace said Charles wanted to share his cancer diagnosis to boost "public understanding" for cancer patients worldwide.
After his meeting with Harry, the King flew to Sandringham and was pictured smiling as he arrived at church on Sunday morning - part of his usual weekly routine.
But he could now move to Wood Farm, Robert claimed.
Prince Philip would often stay at Wood Farm, a farmhouse on the grounds of the estate, after retiring from royal duties in 2017.
Robert said: “I would think he will stay at Sandringham House until they shut it down and they he may go to Wood Farm.
“When the late Queen was very sick she went to Wood Farm. It’s also where Prince Philip lived after his retirement.
“It’s a very relaxing place and he can be there with just a couple of servants and just really chill out.”
In his first public statement to acknowledge the well-wishes of the nation, Charles expressed his “heartfelt thanks” for the kind messages he has received.
The monarch took a helicopter flight from Buckingham Palace to Sandringham on Tuesday after his first face-to-face meeting with his son in 16 months.
Meanwhile, Harry stayed in a London hotel and arrived back at London Heathrow to return to his family by 1.30pm on Wednesday - making his visit just 26-hours long.
Charles had spent three nights at the London Clinic receiving treatment for an "enlarged prostate".
But in an update on Monday Buckingham Palace confirmed the King was diagnosed with a form of cancer.
WOOD FARM RETREAT
The King is expected to have further cancer treatment as an out-patient in London this month.
The Palace has yet to set a date for his return to frontline duties.
It has not been revealed exactly what type of cancer the King has, or what treatment he will receive.
Prince Harry's tense visits to Britain since Megxit
Relations between Charles and Harry were previously feared by some to be fractured beyond repair amid the fallout over their royal row.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun in December: “Charles and Harry’s relationship was at an all-time low before but this may have fractured it beyond all repair.
“It could spell the end game for them.”
Hopes of a reconciliation had been raised after Harry called Charles to wish him a happy 75th birthday last month and sent a video of the King’s US-based grandkids Archie, now four, and Lilibet, two.
And now, Harry has jetted back from the UK following his first face-to-face meeting with Charles for 16 months.
Here's a look inside their fractured relationship since Megxit.
January 2020 - Harry and Meghan make their 'Megxit' flight, leaving for Canada, eventually setting up home in California, USA.
March 2021 - Harry and Meghan give their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey where Harry accused his dad of cutting him off financially.
July 2021 Harry jets back to UK to join William in unveiling a statue to their mother Princess Diana in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
But sources claimed William didn’t want to attend the memorial amid their ongoing rift.
Pals said at the time: “William was still furious. He had taken the view that he’d only give so much. He just didn’t want to go there [with Harry].”
September 2022 - Harry jets to the UK for Prince Philip's funeral. Meghan Markle, who was heavily pregnant at the time, was unable to attend due to doctor's orders not to fly.
A pal of Harry's tells Omid Scobie Harry met the Queen privately ‘at least twice’ and spoke with Charles and William after the Westminster Abbey service.
Kate acts as a "peacemaker" between William and Harry as they share a private chat.
September 2022 - The duke claimed he found out Queen Elizabeth had died in an online news alert.
He jetted to Balmoral without Meghan, and claimed in Spare that she was told she should not attend by Charles.
Harry travelled on a separate flight to his brother William - who travelled with the rest of the family.
The duke wrote in his memoir: "When the plane started to descend I saw that my phone lit up. It was a message from Meg: 'Call me when you get this.' I looked at the BBC website. My grandmother had died. My father was King."
Harry and Meghan were sat behind Charles at the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey.
March 2023 - Harry is told King Charles is "too busy" to see him while he's in the UK for a privacy hearing, according to reports.
The Duke had jetted to the UK to attend a four-day preliminary hearing at the High Court in London regarding his battle with publisher Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL) over allegations of unlawful information gathering.
It was the first time the Prince was back on home soil since the Queen's funeral.
Harry flew back to the US once the hearing was over.
April 2023 - Harry has a "heart-to-heart" talk with his dad before agreeing to come to the Coronation in London
The Duke travelled alone to attend the ceremony on May 6.
Harry headed straight back to the US following the coronation in Westminster Abbey.
He did not appear to speak to his brother William or sister-in-law Kate Middleton at the ceremony - taking a backseat and sitting in the third row at the ceremony.
September 2023 - Prince Harry visits the UK for the annual WellChild Awards, a charity of which he has been patron for 15 years.
But the Duke is not thought to have met his father, as the King had "no time" in his diary to see his son, it was reported.
January 2024 - Harry flies to be with Charles after the monarch's shock cancer diagnosis.
The two have their first meeting for more than 16 months at Clarence House, lasting half an hour.
Harry does not meet William and flies back to the US the following day.
But he will be kept comfortable and has taken a step back from public duties while he is treated.
He is still expected to carry on receiving Red Boxes and State documents during his treatment.
And he'll continue to meet the Prime Minister for a weekly audience.
The King continues to carry out all constitutional roles and spoke to Rishi Sunak on the telephone on Wednesday.
He is set to meet the PM in person again on February 21, restarting their weekly audiences.
But The Sun on Sunday understands his planned royal tour of Canada in the spring with the Queen will be cancelled and rearranged for when he is better.
And there are fresh doubts over his planned visit to Australia and Samoa in the autumn, with insiders saying the long trip is “highly unlikely” to go ahead as planned.
Palace sources insist they are still making arrangements for the tour and it is “too early” to rule it out.
CAMILLA RIFT
Elsewhere, Robert claimed the rift between Harry and Queen Camilla could be a reason the duke’s meeting with Charles was so short.
Robert explained: "The Queen was with the King.
"Let's be honest - he wasn't too complimentary about Queen Camilla in his book Spare.
"He wasn't very complimentary about her on Netflix. They don't get on.
He added that the absence of a relationship between father and son meant any meeting would be strained.
"Second, there's not been a lot of contact," he said.
"That brings its own level of complexity and drama which he doesn't need at the moment.
"The royals do stick to a pretty military clock. You have to get the helicopter pilot there, all these things.
"So his plans had to be changed. The one thing the King doesn't like is changing his plans.
"He gave him long enough for a kiss and hug, and wished him all the best."
King Charles has described the public outpouring of support for him since his cancer diagnosis as "the greatest comfort and encouragement".
In his first public statement to acknowledge the well-wishes of the nation, Charles expressed his “heartfelt thanks” for the kind messages he has received.
He said: “As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.”
And in the message, written from Sandringham, he added it was “equally heartening” that sharing his diagnosis has “shone a light” on the great work carried out by cancer charities.

He said: “My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience.”
The King is expected to convalesce at Windsor Castle, Highgrove and Sandringham over the coming weeks and months.
