Prince Harry ‘will not speak to Kate Middleton’ without Meghan Markle’s ‘permission’, royal commentator claims
Prince Harry "will not speak" to Kate Middleton without seeking "permission" from wife Meghan Markle first, a royal commentator has claimed.
While Kate Middleton and her brother-in-law Prince Harry used to have a close bond, with the the mum-of-three even once being dubbed the "peacemaker," a series of events have caused growing tension amidst the Royal Family.
And according to royal expert Kinsey Schofield, Prince Harry would need to ask Meghan before even thinking about speaking to Kate.
The host for the To Di For Daily podcast claimed: "I personally don’t believe that Harry would speak to Catherine privately without Meghan’s blessing.”
In January 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their decision to step back as "senior" royals and work to become financially independent - adding that they planned to split their time between the UK and North America.
Since then, William, Kate, Harry and Meghan, once dubbed the 'Fab Four,' appear to have grown increasingly distant following several revelations that have caused an alleged rift within the Royal Family.

Schofield claimed that the Prince and Princess of Wales “made it a point to distance themselves” after accusations by the Sussexes' were thrown into the public eye.
Speaking to Fox News, she added: “A significant amount of William’s unhappiness toward Harry revolves around Harry & Meghan discussing Catherine so openly to Oprah and within Spare.”
During an explosive tell-all interview with Oprah, Harry and Meghan dropped several 'truthbombs' which sent shock waves across the globe, with Buckingham Palace responding that "recollections may vary."
Amongst them, Meghan Markle accused Kate Middleton of making her cry in the days before her wedding over a confrontation about Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.
Speaking to Oprah, she said: "I don't think it's fair to her to get into the details of that because she apologised and I've forgiven her.
"What was hard to get over was being blamed for something not only I did not do, but that happened to me."
Then, during a six-part docu-series for Netflix titled 'Harry and Meghan,' the Duke of Sussex claimed there's temptation in the royal family to marry someone who "fits the mould" - a claim that was seen by many as a dig at the Princess of Wales.
And in his memoir 'Spare,' Prince Harry claimed his sister in law was “disgusted” when wife Meghan used her lip gloss.
Harry penned: “Meg asked to borrow Kate’s lip gloss. An American thing. Meg forgot hers, worried she needed some, and turned to Kate for help.
“Kate, taken aback, went into her handbag and reluctantly pulled out a small tube.
“Meg squeezed some onto her finger and applied it to her lips. Kate grimaced.
“Small clash of styles, maybe? Something we should’ve been able to laugh about soon after. But it left a little mark.”
