It came just 90 minutes after Kensington Palace announced the Princess of Wales had been admitted to a private hospital for successful abdominal surgery.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, has so far not publicly commented on either of the operations.

It is understood that the Palace made efforts to inform all senior members of the Royal Family.

But Prince Harry may have seen a news alerts before receiving any private message, reported.

The diagnosis was announced in the UK at 3.25pm, which would have been 7.25am in California.

The Sun has approached the Sussexes and Palace for comment.

It comes after it was revealed that Pulp Fiction actor John Travolta was the driving force behind Harry being inducted into an aviation hall of fame.

The wayward Duke is set to be inducted in Beverly Hills and will be named a Living Legend of Aviation.

Meanwhile, a royal expert has said Harry needs to call his dad and sister-in-law over their operations to bridge the "very deep rift".

Queen Camilla insisted on Thursday, however, that the King was "fine" and "looking forward to getting back to work".

Charles - a known workaholic - often stays late at his desk dealing with his correspondence and official papers into the early hours, but he has generally enjoyed good health, and keeps fit by walking and gardening.

He has postponed a number of engagements and will have been ordered by his doctors to take it easy.

William kept Kate company at her bedside in the London Clinic during a low key, private trip to see his wife on Thursday.

She is said to be "doing well" but will remain in the exclusive clinic for between 10 to 14 days, and is not expected to return to official duties until after Easter.

Heir to the throne William has stepped back from official duties for several weeks to juggle looking after their children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and care for his wife.
