KATE Middleton is "doing well" after being admitted to hospital for abdominal surgery on Tuesday, a source has said.
The mum of three is set to spend 10-14 days in hospital, following the procedure and won't return to royal engagements until after Easter.
It comes as the Palace confirmed King Charles is set to undergo a "prostate procedure".
In a statement, the Palace said: "In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate.
"His Majesty's condition is benign and he will attend hospital next week for a corrective procedure. The King’s public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation."
King Charles was seen for the first time today, as he prepares to undergo the procedure.

The monarch had been due to hold a series of meetings and events at Dumfries House on Thursday and Friday, but these have now been postponed.

In a statement the Palace said: “In common with thousands of men each year, The King has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate.

When did King Charles marry Queen Camilla?
King Charles and Queen Camilla's highly-publicised romance began at a party.

Phil Dampier told Fabulous: “William will be Kate’s rock while she is in hospital but other members of the royal family will be giving her their love and support as well.
"At home William will be looking after the children but of course he is ably assisted by the kids’ Spanish nanny Maria Borrallo who has always been there for them.
"They are all very fond of her and they are in safe hands."

She may miss Prince Edward's 60th birthday celebrations on March 10.
