PRINCESS Kate was last seen in public before her hospital admission beaming as she attended the Christmas Day service at Sandringham.
The royal, 42, was joined by Prince William for the annual tradition at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk.
Kate smiled at the crowds as she shepherded Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis into the service.
She looked stunning in a royal blue long coat by Alexander McQueen and Princess Diana's sapphire and diamond drop earrings.

Kate has not been seen in public since Christmas Day, with Kensington Palace today confirming she is in hospital.
The princess underwent successful abdominal surgery at The London Clinic yesterday.
It is understood the surgery was not for cancer but the Palace won't speculate on a private medical matter.
Kate will now stay in hospital for ten to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery.

She is not expected to return to public duties until after Easter based on current medical advice, the Palace said.
A spokesperson said: "The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.
"She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.
"Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness' progress when there is significant new information to share.
"The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements.
"She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible."
