Who is Marina Ogilvy and where is she now?
MARINA Ogilvy shocked the Royal Family and nation when she posed for a magazine photoshoot clad in rubber fetish gear and wearing a crown, surrounded by corgis.
Here we delve in to the unconventional royal's life, family, career and net worth.
Who is Marina Ogilvy?
Marina Victoria Alexandra Ogilvy was born on July 31, 1966 at Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park, London.
She is daughter of the late Queen's cousin, Princess Alexandra, The Honourable Lady Ogilvy, and Sir Angus Ogilvy — and is also King Charles' goddaughter.
Princess Alexandra is the daughter of Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, and her father was Prince George, The Duke of Kent — meaning she is related to all of the leading European houses of royalty.
One of Marina's school peers told the in 2003: "She was extremely bright and jolly and much less grand-seeming than her cousin Lady Helen Windsor who was a couple of years older and often stretched herself to her full height as if to say: 'Do you know who I am?'
"Marina always seemed much more normal. I felt sorry for Marina when she was splashed all over the papers, because in fact Helen had been the much more rebellious one when at school — and the one who had much more dangerous friends. I don't even recall who Marina's friends were."
Marina currently sits at 61st in the line of succession to the British throne, and has an older brother, James Ogilvy, who was born in 1964.
For years Marina was known as a bit of a black sheep in the Royal Family, as she posed for fetish magazines back in 1989 — before falling pregnant outside of wedlock.
Marina went on to marry the photographer father of her baby, Paul Mowatt, before giving birth — with Marina ensuring it was a ceremony to remember as she was heavily pregnant and wore a black wedding dress, a red velvet bolero with gold trim and black hat on the big day.
